Ceramics and ceramics education has been a cornerstone of the Sedona Arts Center since it was founded over 65 years ago. As part of our Elements series this season, we invite all ceramic artists to submit work for consideration for Earth and Fire.

The exhibit will be held in the Special Exhibitions Gallery at Sedona Arts Center from January 3-31, 2025.

November 25, 2024: Deadline to submit.  

December 6, 2024: Notification to Artists

December 20, 2024: Deliver work or ship work to arrive before these dates

Opening Reception: January 3, 2025, 4-6pm

Awards

●       Monetary awards will be given for First Place/Best of Show Award ($500), Second ($250) and Third ($150) place.

●       Honorable mention awards will be awarded at the discretion of the jurors and no monetary amount attached.

●       People’s Choice Award is announced at the end of the show. No monetary award attached..

●      Sales:  60% / 40%: Artist/Sedona Arts Center 

February 3-4, 2025: Artists pick up work or work is shipped back. Return shipping label must be included or emailed prior to the end of the show.



 

Application Requirements

Image Format:  Each artist can submit up to three (3) images of their artwork in JPEG format with a minimum resolution of 300 DPI. Images should include the title of the piece in the file name. In addition, please list the title, dimensions, medium and price of your pieces on the Entry Form.

Eligibility Criteria

Emerging to professional artists, 18 years and older can apply. Artwork must be made within the last 3 years and cannot have been on display in any other Sedona Arts Center Exhibition.
