LONG DESCRIPTION: Tubac Center of the Arts “Members’ Juried Exhibit” is juried exhibit open to all members of the Tubac Center of the Arts and all media is accepted except video.  Work must have been completed within the last 24 months.  Work that has been previously displayed at TCA is not eligible.  All work must be the original creation of the artist.

The Members’ Juried Exhibit is an Invitational exhibit for artist members of Tubac Center of the Arts.  To become a member of TCA, please register on our website at www.Tubacarts.org or call 520-398-2371. Non-Members will immediately be disqualified, and no refund will be issued.

Monday, June 24, 2024: Call Opens
Friday, October 18, 2024: Entry deadline
October 21-28, 2024: Jury Process
Week of October 28, 2024: Notifications to Artists
Monday, November 4-11, 2024: Shipped art accepted
Monday, November 11, 2024: Hand-delivered art due
Friday, November 15, 2024: Opening Reception and awards announcement  
Monday, January 6, 2025: Art must be picked up Monday
Week of January 13, 2025: Shipped art returned

Art not picked up after 60 days will become the property of Tubac Center of the Arts an may be auctioned/sold with proceeds solely benefiting TCA.

Images: Artists agree to release the use of images of accepted works to TCA only as a permanent record of the exhibition and only for promotional use relating to the exhibition and the Art Center.

Artwork:

Giclee reproductions are not permitted. Entry must be original; entirely the work of the artist, executed within the last 24 months, and cannot have been previously shown at TCA.

No art may be removed from the exhibit prior to the close of the exhibition on Sunday, January 5th, 2025, including sold art.

Delivery/Shipping:

Artists are responsible for shipping to and from TCA.  Unsold work will be shipped back to the artist after the closing of the exhibition.  Artists must provide a PREPAID shipping label for the return of their artwork.

Fees:

Members may enter up to three (3) 2d or 3d artworks in any media.  The non-refundable entry fee for the first entry is $30, and $3 for each additional entry. Payments are made at the end of the CaFE™ entry process either via credit card online or check paid to TCA prior to the deadline.

Awards:

Awards will be selected and presented in person during the opening reception.  This year’s awards judge and exhibit juror is oil painter, David Simons.

The Best of Show winner will also receive a solo exhibit in the Studio Gallery, January 10 – February 23, 2025.

Presentation:

All artwork must arrive in a condition ready to professionally display or hang.  If framed, work must be suitably matted, (white, black or neutral colors preferred), simply framed and firmly wired. No sawtooth hangers.  TCA reserves the right to disqualify any selected entry upon arrival that does not meet the above requirements or is deemed unsuitable for display.

Sales:

All work must be for sale. TCA will retain a 40% commission. Price work accordingly.

Application Requirements

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: Artists must apply through CAFE and agree to all terms listed in the application.

Eligibility Criteria

ELIGIBILITY: Artists must be current members of Tubac Center of the Arts. Non-Members will automatically be disqualified without refund.
