The Visual Arts Center at the Washington Pavilion invites you to submit your artwork for the upcoming exhibition: "Heartland Horizons" in the Bates Trimble Heartland Gallery.

The Heartland represents more than just a geographic location; it embodies the values, traditions and stories that shape the very soul of our region. For this exhibition we seek artwork that captures the essence of the Heartland - its landscapes, its people, its history, and its future.

Whether you draw inspiration from vast prairies, bustling cities, quaint towns, agricultural abundance, or the resilient spirit of Heartland communities, we encourage you to share your unique perspective through your art.

July 26: Submissions Open

September 27: Submissions Close

October 11: Artwork selected by Jury

October 18: Artists Notified

November 8: Artists must deliver artwork

December 1: Exhibition Opens

May 27, 2025: Exhibition Closes

May 27-June 30, 2025: Artists must pick up artwork
