An annual, national, juried small works exhibit, highlighting the power in the compact. Artists are encouraged to explore ideas of compression, focus, scale, the intimate, and what gives impact and meaning through a restrained format. Open to subject and theme as long as the dimensions do not exceed 12” in any direction, including frame or other mounts.
Teeny, Tiny, BOLD runs from November 21, 2024 through Saturday, January 11, 2025. This exhibit will coincide with Artists Sunday on December 1, a national campaign to support artists the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend. Artists are encouraged to attend the artist reception on Friday, December 13, 2024 from 4-7 p.m. CT and to share exhibit on social media.
ROUNTREE GALLERY
An all volunteer, artist run, non-profit contemporary gallery hosting local, regional and national exhibits, while serving the community with educational and studio opportunities.
JUROR
Rafael Francisco Salas is a Wisconsin based artist. He combines landscape, the legacy of portraiture, architecture, and country music into artwork evoking a singular, rural poetry. He is represented by Portrait Society Gallery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Salas has also worked as an arts writer for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Newcity Art Chicago, The Isthmus Magazine and Urban Milwaukee.
In 2022, Salas was appointed by Governor Tony Evers to serve on the Wisconsin Arts Board, the state agency responsible for the support and development of the arts throughout Wisconsin. He also serves on the Executive Board of the Museum of Wisconsin Art in West Bend.

Application Requirements
Artists are encouraged to submit works in mediums: painting, drawing, collage, photography, fiber, metal, printmaking, ceramics or any other medium that fits the size requirement of not exceeding 12” in any direction.
