47th Lubbock Arts Festival Juried Gallery
This competition is part of the annual Lubbock Arts Festival, April 12-13, 2025, and is open to all artists working in any fine art media. The Lubbock Arts Festival is a project of the Lubbock Arts Alliance, Inc.
ELIGIBILITY
Open to all artists in all media.
Entries must be original in design and execution.
Entries must have been completed in the last two years.
Works completed in a workshop or under supervision are ineligible.
ENTRY FEES
$30 per entry.
Each artist may have no more than three works represented in the show, but the number of entries is limited to ten.
Entry fees are non-refundable.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
All accepted works must be hand delivered ready to hang securely with wire (no sawtooth hangers) for display. We will not be accepting shipped artworks. Artwork cannot exceed 35 pounds.
Framed size limit 44 w” x 72h”
All accepted works will remain on display for the duration of the 47th Annual Lubbock Arts Festival.
Juried Gallery will be in the 1/3 Banquet Room of the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.
Artists must obtain a Texas Sales Tax number to apply to the Juried Exhibit. Artist is responsible for remitting all state and local sales tax and reports.

Robin Markowitz: Art Jeweler, Show Director, and Executive Director of Art-Linx
Robin Markowitz is a contemporary art jeweler, seasoned show director, and the Executive Director of Art-Linx. With a career spanning over three decades in the arts industry, Robin has carved a niche for herself through her craftsmanship, innovative show management, and dedicated love of the juried art world.
As an art jeweler, Robin’s creations are celebrated for their intricate designs and unique blend of traditional techniques with contemporary aesthetics. Her jewelry pieces are not just accessories; they are wearable art that tells a story, each meticulously crafted to reflect her passion for color, beauty and detail. Robin’s work has been showcased in numerous prestigious stores and juried art shows, earning her accolades and a loyal following of collectors.
In addition to her artistry, Robin currently produces eleven art shows in 4 states. She has a keen eye for talent and a deep understanding of what makes an art show successful. Her commitment to curating high-quality events has elevated the profile of many art shows including Bethesda Row (2009-2018), and currently An Occasion for the Arts (Williamsburg, VA), Rose Squared Art Shows (DE, NJ and PA) and VisArts Rockville Arts Festival (Rockville, MD), providing artists with the perfect platforms to exhibit their work and connect with art enthusiasts.
Robin’s leadership extends to her role as the Executive Director of Art-Linx, an organization dedicated to supporting and promoting artists and art shows/festivals. Under her guidance, Art-Linx has become a vital resource for artists seeking to expand their reach and providing information about current trends, best practices and art show information through the Art-Linx website, social media outreach and Art Festival Newsletter. The Newsletter is published 6 times a year. Robin’s strategic vision and unwavering dedication have driven the organization’s growth, fostering a vibrant and inclusive art community with show directors from across the country at the annual Art Festival Directors Conference.
Robin Markowitz’s multifaceted career is a testament to her passion for the juried arts community. She is thrilled to be working with the Lubbock Arts Festival and proud to be a juror for the Gallery.

SALES
All artwork must be for sale at the price determined at submission and include sales tax. Lubbock Arts Alliance will retain 33 1/3% commission on all Gallery sales.
REPRODUCTION
The Lubbock Arts Alliance retains the right to reproduce work for publicity purposes. Submission of an entry to this exhibition shall indicate an agreement on the part of the artist to these conditions.
