Explore and Exhibit the Elegance and Stark Beauty of Winter
Exhibizone proudly presents Seasons: Winter - 2025, the 5th juried exhibition that invites you to explore the profound stillness and stark beauty of winter through your artistic vision.
Winter is a season of quiet reflection, where the world seems to pause in a breathless hush. It’s a time when nature’s stark contrasts—the blinding purity of snow against the dark silhouettes of barren trees—evoke feelings of solitude, resilience, and renewal. As the earth rests, so too do our minds, allowing space for introspection, creativity, and the gentle unfolding of inspiration.
We invite you to delve into the essence of winter, capturing its silent majesty and the emotions it stirs. Whether you’re moved by the serene landscapes of snow-covered fields, the cozy warmth of fireside gatherings, or the introspective stillness of a winter’s night, your work can illuminate the quiet power of this season.
For Seasons: Winter - 2025, we encourage artists to explore the many faces of winter, including but not limited to:
Winter Landscapes: Capture the serene and sometimes harsh beauty of winter’s landscapes—frosted forests, icy lakes, and snow-draped mountains that stand as symbols of nature’s resilience and tranquility.
Hearth and Home: Celebrate the warmth and comfort of winter’s embrace within our homes. Depict the joy found in winter traditions—festive lights, the crackling of a fireplace, or the simple pleasure of a hot drink on a cold day.
Solitude and Reflection: Explore the introspective side of winter, where long nights and quiet days invite deeper thought and emotional depth. Convey the quietude that fosters creativity, self-discovery, and personal growth.
Winter Festivities: Bring to life the vibrancy of winter celebrations—festive gatherings, New Year’s traditions, and the magical glow of holiday lights that brighten the darkest days of the year.
Urban Winter: Showcase how cities transform under winter’s touch. Highlight the interplay of urban architecture with the starkness of winter, from snow-covered streets to the warmth of bustling city life against the cold backdrop.
Abstract Winter: Distill the feelings of winter into abstract forms. Use color, texture, and shape to express the emotions and atmospheres that this season evokes in a nonliteral, yet deeply resonant way.
Let your art be a beacon in the quiet beauty of winter, reflecting the season’s transformative power and its ability to inspire. We look forward to seeing the stories you will weave, celebrating the richness and complexity of winter.
All interpretations in any 2D and 3D art medium, abstract or representational, are welcome.
