In honor of the Western Stock show, we are having our annual Western Adjacent Themed Group Art Show, High Noon. And because this is Memento Mori Gallery, we always invite the outsider, the lowbrow, and the macabre.

Memento Mori Gallery & Tattoo is a lowbrow/outsider contemporary art gallery located in the 40West Arts District, part of the art walk circuit, and in the same shopping center as Casa Bonita. We get good foot traffic on First Fridays. This First Friday opening reception will be a bigger event to celebrate 2 years, and will include live music, delicious food, flash tattoo specials and more!

Application Requirements

2D & 3D western-adjacent themed artwork. $20 entry fee per piece, can submit up to 2 pieces. Artwork must be for sale, with 40% of sale going to gallery. Piece must be ready to hang or display physically (will not display digital artwork unless it is printed and framed/mounted properly). "Ready to Hang" means hanging hardware is already attached - plain canvas without hanging wire is not "ready to hang". We will reject anything not ready to hang at drop off. Hanging wire preferred, no adhesive mounts, and must be able to hang from a hook or nail. We will also not accept any photographic work that depicts another artist’s artwork without express permission from the artist to show and sell the photograph; this includes street art.

*Out-of-state artists are responsible for shipping costs to and from the gallery. Please do not submit unless you are prepared for this.
