Artists may submit up to three individual works of art. We want to suggest the best way to photograph your work so they will be presented to their best advantage. Enter only full images, NO detail images. Detail images will not be accepted or considered by the jurors. Poor photography will result in poor juror scores. Do not use sheets as a backdrop or any other non-image backdrop. Images must reflect the work with a straight-on view.
Images must be 5MB or less. There are no dimension restrictions for the print exhibition. Denver Botanic Gardens may consider dimensions when choosing artwork for the on-site exhibition.
For each entry, list the information separately for each piece starting with the title of the work in the categories: materials, technique, dimensions, year completed, retail value if the work is available for sale (otherwise list NFS), photo credit per piece, and artist statement per piece. List dimensions as Height x Width x Depth in inches. The information entered into the application form is the information that will be used in all print and digital mentions and on social media. Be succinct and concise with your artist statement. Artist statements must be 100 words or less for each artwork.
