The June 2025 Group Show, title to come, will explore traditional, non-traditional, and contemporary interpretations of the rainbow, to be created on a blank skate deck, Artists are welcome to repurpose their own decks, or include previous painted skate decks that match the theme, if they so prefer. For the June 2025 show, the Kinder Padon Gallery is searching for artists working in the forms of all media, with an emphasis put on the use of color. Multiple artists will be selected for the show, based not only on their Original Work, but will also be judged on their Skate Deck design. A template is provided to submit your design, as works will likely be created for this show.
Final Works should be complete by May 1st, 2025. The June 2025 show will run from June 11th - June 30th, 2025. Artists of all 2D media are encouraged to apply. This show will be in honor of Pride Month, and allies and members of the LGBTQIA+ community are also encouraged to apply.
Application Requirements
Entries are to be submitted online through CaFE.
The following information is required for submission:
- Name, address (and shipping address if different), telephone, e-mail.
- Up to 5 works total may be submitted; these may be any combination of individual works and/or details, but each entry is limited to 5 works.+mockup
- Images - full and detailed - 10MB files, titled by last name and title (E.G. Pollock, Blue Poles)
- How you, as an artist, would pursue the Center for the Arts mission to enrich the community through arts and cultural experiences for everyone
- A brief artist statement (50-100 words, maximum).
Eligibility Criteria
This call is open to Colorado Residents. In order to be eligible for review, you may enter 5 pieces, as 10MB files. 2D works are eligible. Submissions must also include an artist CV, an artist's statement, as well as an artist proposal for how they would use the Gallery. Works must be complete. Non-residents of Colorado will not be considered.
