This art opportunity encourages artists worldwide to illuminate the unique experiences and emotions that shape the feminine journey.

Your Art, Your Voice
We invite you to participate in Girlish 2025 and bring to life the stories of girls and women through your creative lens. This is a chance to explore the depths of femininity, conveying self-discovery, empowerment, societal expectations, cultural influences, and personal narratives. Through artistic expression, let your work reveal the strength, beauty, challenges, and resilience of women and girls across the globe.

Themes to Inspire Your Art
While we encourage artists to interpret the theme freely, here are some focus areas that may ignite your inspiration:

Girlhood & Womanhood – Celebrate the transformative journey of body, mind, and soul.

Heritage & Identity – Explore the rich legacies and cultural roots of girls and women worldwide.

Emotions, Resilience & Self-Discovery – Unveil the layers of joy, struggle, and strength in their lives.

Social Expectations & Cultural Impact – Reflect on how societal norms shape their experiences.

Freedom, Rights & Gender Equality – Shine a light on progress and barriers in gender equality.

Women in Developing Countries – Share perspectives on unique challenges and resilience.

Violence Against Girls & Women – Use your art as a voice to confront and reflect.

Post-Pandemic Era – Illustrate their journeys through the Covid and post-Covid landscape.

Empowerment & Leadership – Showcase trailblazers in management, politics, science, and more.

Motherhood & Family Dynamics – Celebrate women’s roles within families and as caregivers.

Famous Women in Art & History – Pay tribute to icons who paved the way.

Girls and Women in Technology – Highlight their innovation and contributions.

Whether you focus on the joys, dreams, challenges, self-belief, or the complexities of gender identity, Girlish 2025 offers a platform to amplify your voice and contribute to a global dialogue on femininity.

FEES

Submission: FREE

Only jury-selected artists will pay a selection fee of USD 40

An early bird selection fee with a 15% discount (USD 34) will be offered.

Up to 6 artworks can be submitted.

A maximum of two artworks will be selected per artist.

Jury Process

We use two phases for jurying. The first phase of jurying is the Yes/No selection, and the 2nd part is the scoring model. For scoring, each jury member scores artworks from 1 to 10. Artworks with the highest scores in the "Yes" group will be selected.

Why Selection Fee?

Submission to this art opportunity is free of charge, and we only ask the selected artists to pay a small fixed fee to proceed.

This decision was made in good faith because we wanted artists to only pay when selected. We have a thorough jury process as our art opportunities are popular and have a low acceptance rate.

Money-back Guarantee

A money-back guarantee is available for all selection fee payments until the exhibition's official opening day.
