Entries are being accepted for our Juried Art Competition from artists from all over the United States!
Through "Winter Art Odyssey," we hope to discover unique interpretations of this season that go beyond the familiar imagery, embracing everything from stark solitude to cozy gatherings. We are especially looking for work that pushes creative boundaries and offers new perspectives on winter’s impact on nature, humanity, and imagination.
Let this winter be your muse. Show us the depth, mystery, and wonder of winter as you've experienced it, and take us on an odyssey through your art.
Artists are encouraged to push boundaries and challenge traditional approaches to perception, offering viewers an immersive sensory experience. We welcome submissions in various mediums, including but not limited to painting, sculpture, mixed media, photography, and digital art.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Art Mozaik Gallery especially values the contributions of New Mexico’s diversified and flourishing arts community. We hope that by putting out this call for art in New Mexico, we may help to draw attention to the abundance of creative ability in the area and give local artists a chance to be seen.

- Submission Deadline: December 27th, 2024 till 12 am
- Notification Date: January 4 ,2025
- Artwork must arrive by: January 7, 2025
- Exhibition Dates: January 10 - February 7, 2025
- Reception Date: January 10, 2025 from 5-7pm (second Friday)
- Unsold works pickup: February 8 - February 10 (11am-3pm)
Attention for artists who will be accepted from another state:
Please provide us with a return shipping label for your artwork. Without a return label, the cost of shipping and handling will be $80, which will be the artist’s responsibility.
Alternatively, you can arrange for shipping through a local company in Santa Fe. For assistance, you may contact the local shipping company at 505-471-4725 (PACKER)
Accepted artworks must Include the following annotations in text box for each art piece:
- Your name
- Title of Artwork ( e.g., Picasso_Dream)
- Category/ medium/ surface (e.g. (painting/ACRYLIC/canvas)
- Size in inches: (Height x Width x Depth)
- Price of artwork ($)
Application Requirements
- Applications accepted from living artists over the age of 18.
- All works must be original.
- All works must be for sale.
- The minimum price starts at $150
- All artworks must be no larger than 320 square inches, including frame.
- No copies, diptychs or computer-generated work.
- Entries must not be copies or derivatives based in any way on other copyrighted or published paintings, photographs or other artistic work. Any infraction of this rule will result in disqualification.
- Entries must not have been produced as part of a class instruction.
- All accepted artworks must be ready to hang/display with the proper hardware (i.e., paintings with wire).
Eligibility Criteria
We accept:
- paintings in all mediums: oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, color pencil, mixed media,
- drawing,
- photography,
- printmaking.
- Our size requirements: art is no bigger than 16”x20” (320 square inches including frame).
