People’s choice award will be chosen by the attendees during the opening of the show.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

You may enter one piece of art for $40. Any additional submission is $5 (U.S funds) non-refundable fee.

SALES?

Artwork may be for sale. You will agree to a 30% commission going to support TSHOW. Every year we have sold between 30% and 50% works displayed. 

INTERNATIONAL JURY?

Christopher M. Leahy retired as the Executive Director of the Tyler Museum of Art in July 2023 after ten years in that position. He came to Tyler after four years (2009 – 2013) as the Vice President for Finance and Administration for The Mariners’ Museum in Newport News, VA. Prior to leading the staff at The Mariners’ Museum, Chris served as the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer at the Corcoran Gallery of Art and College of Art and Design from 2006 to 2009 and held a similar position at The Phillips Collection from 2001 to 2006. Both internationally known art museums are located in Washington, DC. Prior to moving into not-for-profit leadership, Chris spent eight years as the Chief Financial Officer of an employee-owned defense consulting firm in Alexandria, VA. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware and earned a master’s in business administration from Saint Mary’s University, in San Antonio, TX. Chris and his wife Vic have three children, and three grandchildren.

FINE PRINT

An address for shipping works will be forwarded to accepted artists. Return of the art work will have to be paid by the artist. TSHOW is not responsible for any damage to artwork in the course of shipping or during the show.

Application Requirements

ART?

Artwork accepted in the show includes: painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, printmaking and wall installations. Artwork dimensions should not exceed 80x80 in.
