We are looking for fine artists, photographers, and sculptors to apply for inclusion in the exclusive Main Gallery Exhibition, the centerpiece of Art + Ale’s weekend art fair. Taking place April 4-6, 2025, at the historic Pacific + Main creative event building in Midtown Ventura, the exhibition is curated by Dama Gallery and showcased in a stunning 3,000 sq. ft. contemporary art space.
Located between Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties—three of the wealthiest regions in California—Art + Ale is a destination for seasoned art collectors and cultural enthusiasts. With a professionally curated setting, no additional display fees, and a sophisticated audience, this event is a remarkable occasion for artists seeking meaningful exposure and valuable sales opportunity.
Event Details:
- Dates: April 4-6, 2025
- Location: Pacific + Main, a 10,000 sq. ft. creative hub featuring a dedicated fine art gallery curated by Dama Gallery.
- Opening Night: April 4th, including the gallery unveiling and a VIP opening night with a reserve beer tasting, attended by gallery exclusive invites, opening night ticket holders, brewmasters and industry patrons.
- Audience: Art collectors and art enthusiasts from LA, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties, regions known for their vibrant cultural appreciation and affluence.

How to Apply:
Submit your application with the following:
- Artist bio and contact information
- High-resolution images of the work you wish to exhibit (minimum 3)
- Artist statement detailing your creative vision and approach
Sales and Remittance:
- There are no additional "booth fees" for the artists selected for the gallery show of this event.
- Dama Gallery adheres to the industry norm of a 50% commission, retaining half of the sale proceeds.
- Sales remittance to the artist occurs 5-7 business days post-exhibition and/or upon buyer payment finalization to Dama Gallery (whichever finalizes first). A detailed remittance statement is promptly provided with payment.

Application Requirements
ART REQUIREMENTS - All artwork must be original and unsold. The artist must own the sole copyright to art. Frames, mats & wiring must be professional quality & in good condition. Saw - tooth hangers are discouraged. Wiring must be securely fashioned & support weight of the artwork. 2D Artwork selected for exhibition MUST BE READY TO HANG.
SHIPPING (EXHIBITION) - Absolutely no packing peanuts. Crates, boxes, even small packages containing packing peanuts will be resealed and immediately shipped back to you, no exceptions. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping & insurance (during shipping) of artworks for purposes of exhibition.
Eligibility Criteria
SELECTIONS INFO - We are selecting 20-25 artists for the gallery show. Final selection number of artist will depend on art availability and size of featured artworks. Each featured artist should be prepared with 5-10 artworks ready for the event. While large works can by accommodated by the gallery, it is recommend to include small and medium sized art in your submissions as well.
ACCEPTED ARTWORK - Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture, Glass, Fiber, Functional, Digital, Photography, Installation, mixed media and New Genres. Proposals may include multiple disciplines.
SUBMISSION TIP - A comprehensive and detailed submission will include at least 3 images, biography and artist statement. Include your website and social media accounts.
