Khawam gallery specializes in contemporary European, American, Latin American, and Middle Eastern art. The gallery is professionally operated with a full time curator and director, and currently seeking to expand an artist roster for a cooperative gallery program located in East Hanover, NJ in the prestigious Morris County, home to the Northeast most affluent communities connected with a direct train to New York City.

The gallery has a program with curated exhibitions and solo shows, both at the gallery and at other venues. The disciplines allowed to apply are in painting, sculpture, and photography in all media.  The first group curated exhibit is free to the selected artists opening reception May 15/2025 with an opportunity to be represented by the gallery. Unlike other cooperative galleries, our artists don't need to know about marketing or write a pr, we want the artist to focus on art creation and leave the day-to-day marketing and promotions to our experienced professionals.  This is an important distinction because of the gallery’s dynamic marketing, advertising, email campaign, and social media program to put the artist work at the front of our prospective clients and arts institutions.

Benefits of becoming a gallery artist is optional and is based on two levels:

Option 1- Full Artist Representation

- One solo show, and one curated group exhibition per year ($1,000 per year marketing fee).

- Artist profile page on gallery website.

- A professional promotion in marketing, advertising, email campaign, and social media program.

- Solo shows and group exhibits can be seen virtually on the gallery website.

Option 2- Associate Artist Representation

- Two curated group exhibitions per year ($500 per year marketing fee).

- Artist profile page on gallery website.

- A professional promotion in marketing, email campaigns, and social media programs.

- All group exhibits can be seen virtually on the gallery website.

The gallery has participated in several national Art Fairs since 2017 and encourages artists participation but optional for selected artists which require an art fair fee (e.g. Context Art Miami, Untitled Miami Beach, Art Palm Beach + Contemporary, LA Art Show, NADA NYC, The Armory Show, NYC).

Application Requirements

No composite images or files with multiple images exceeding the 5 requested will be accepted (the application will not be reviewed). You may share one video link as part of your portfolio. Each link will be viewed as part of the 6 and not additional.
