"Flower Power" is an open call for artists to celebrate the enduring allure and symbolic power of flowers through their art. This exhibition seeks to explore botanical themes from a contemporary perspective, highlighting the profound ways flora—whether seed pods, petals, or entire blooms—can connect and inspire humanity. Artists are also invited to consider the cultural significance of flowers throughout history and in daily life. "Flower Power" will showcase works that underscore how flowers bring people together—whether through their beauty, their role in history and culture, or in how they evoke emotion. This exhibition is a tribute to the timeless ability of flowers to inspire unity, admiration, and creative expression.

Artists are encouraged to explore their unique perspectives and connections to botanical themes, offering various interpretations of this enduring subject.

Within this exhibition, artists are encouraged to draw inspiration from these suggested themes:

  1. The Beauty of Blooms: Artwork that captures the delicate beauty, intricate structures/patterns, and vibrant colors of flowers. Focus on celebrating the visual appeal and sensory experiences flowers provide.
  2. Floral Symbolism Across Cultures: Art that delves into the cultural, spiritual, or historical meanings of flowers. Highlighting their roles in rituals, celebrations, social relationships and societal movements.
  3. The Power of Growth and Transformation: Pieces that use botanical imagery to symbolize personal or collective growth and renewal. Exploring themes of resilience, cycles, and change.
  4. Flowers and Community: Art that examines how flowers unite people across time and space. From shared admiration to their role in public spaces, gardens, and social rituals.
  5. Contemporary Florals: Bold interpretations of botanical themes through innovative or unexpected mediums. Reflecting modern perspectives on timeless subjects.

Let your art bloom and join us in celebrating the universal language of flowers!

This exhibition will run from April 26th to May 24th, 2025.
