To celebrate our reopening, we’re proud to present our next juried exhibition:
“H2O: The Water Show”

This exhibition honors our resilience while showcasing the diverse and vital role water plays in our lives and ecosystems—though we’re happy to keep it off our floors this time!

We are celebrating our return to reopening the  gallery with our next juried exhibition “H2O: The Water Show” This exhibition aims to  celebrate not only our resilience but also the diverse and vital role water plays in our  lives and ecosystems, but not on our floors.

Water is more than just a natural resource; it is a powerful symbol of life, a source of  inspiration, and a catalyst for creativity. Through this exhibition, we invite artists from all  mediums - painting, sculpture, and photography - to explore the  theme of water in its myriad forms. Whether it be the calming flow of a river, the  destructive force of a flood, the beauty of ocean waves, or the intimate moments of daily  life involving water, we encourage you to interpret this theme in your own unique way

We seek works that provoke thought, ignite conversations, and spark emotions around  the vital essence of water. Your creative interpretations can highlight the beauty, mystery, and duality of water—celebrating its life-giving properties while also  acknowledging its potential for destruction.

The exhibition will be juried by members of the Studio ACE Artist Council.

About ACE Gallery: 

ACE Gallery is an intimate exhibition space created in February 2024 to help support the arts programming of Studio ACE, a nonprofit organization founded in 2016 by Julia Fister, Executive Director. ACE provides low-cost, high-quality art classes for students of all abilities and ages, from toddlers to seniors, including free arts programming for neurodivergent children, teens, and adults. 

ACE also partners with a number of programs to benefit under-resourced communities, and participates in local fairs and festivals, providing free family-friendly art projects to complement the theme of each event. 

Proceeds from the sale of all artworks exhibited in the ACE Gallery not only benefit the exhibiting artists but also directly help ACE to continue to fulfill its mission to connect, inspire and enrich lives through Arts, Community, and Education 

Application Requirements

Submission Details: ACE Gallery welcomes submissions of artworks of any medium. Artworks must measure no more than 20 inches in any direction, not including frame.  Frames are limited to an additional 2 inches in width.

Submissions may include but are not limited to: 

Paintings/Drawings 
Limited Edition Prints 
Photography: (All photo-based art is welcome) 
Sculpture: Small sculpture work must fit on a pedestal with a size limitation of no  more than 14 inches wide, 14 inches deep and 20 inches high. 

Please note: Artwork requiring electrical connections cannot be accommodated.

Important Dates: 

Submissions open: January 13, 2025 

Submission Deadline: February 17, 2025, Midnight (MST) / 11:00 PM (PST) 

Emailed Notification of Accepted Work: February 21, 2025 

Art Delivery: 

In-person artwork drop off on the following dates/times: ∙ Friday March 14, 2025, from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm ∙ Saturday March 15, 2025, from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm 

Shipped artwork must arrive by 4:00 pm on Friday March 14, 2025 

Must include a prepaid shipping label for return shipment to ensure the safe return of your work at the conclusion of the exhibition. 

Must be packed in a sturdy shipping box and materials that can be easily re-used  for return shipment. 

Should be insured for its full value. 

Shipped entries must have a Prepaid Return Shipping Label (UPS & FedEx) with barcode in box.

Shipped Artwork: Artwork will be shipped back at the conclusion of the exhibition.

Exhibition Dates: March 17- April 18, 2025 

Opening Reception: March 22, 2025, 5:00-7:00pm 

Pickup art in person: April 19, 2025, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. 

We do not have art storage. $10 per day will be charged as a Late Pick-up Fee unless other arrangements have been made.

No work may be substituted or exchanged for any reason.

Work must be original, and for sale, ready to install.

Presentation: 

Artworks will be hung Salon style in this exhibition. 

Eligibility Criteria

Entry Fees: 
∙ $25 for the first 3 submissions. 
∙ Additional submissions are welcomed at a cost of $10 per image. 
∙ Artists are encouraged to submit as many images as desired.
