And Still it Remains: A Long COVID Exhibition, was conceptualized by an RN/artist who is a Long COVID survivor. We are using this exhibition to bring more public and medical awareness to Long COVID and create a sense of community among Long COVID survivors.

2020 changed the course of many people’s lives here in the US and around the world with the devastating COVID-19 pandemic. Long COVID or long-haul COVID is a group of health problems persisting or developing after an initial period of COVID-19 infection. Symptoms can last weeks, months or years and are often debilitating. Long COVID is characterized by a large number of symptoms that sometimes disappear and then reappear. Commonly reported symptoms of long COVID are fatigue, memory problems, shortness of breath, and sleep disorder that persist.

Many artists and creatives have been affected by this. So with the opportunity to create artwork about their experiences, we welcome those who have been affected by Long COVID or who are still living with it, to apply to this exhibition.

Artworks Center for Contemporary Art (ACCA) is the largest studio artist community in Northern Colorado dedicated to advancing contemporary arts. With desirable studio and gallery space, artists are free to work solo or take advantage of collaborative opportunities. We are a non-profit 501 (c) 3 and rely on the generous support of donors, patrons, and artists like you.
