Wall Preparation: The City of Fort Pierce will be responsible to ensure that the wall is clear of any obstruction or issues before the commencement of the mural. 

Mural Design Theme: The selected artist will enjoy complete artistic freedom. We are looking for a professional, visually appealing artwork that captures the dynamic spirit, diversity, and vibrancy of Fort Pierce. We encourage you to bring forth a unique and distinctive vision, different from the current murals found throughout our city. Let your creativity ignite and inspire!

Key Selection Criteria: Proposals will be evaluated based on the following: 

Artistic Vision: How well the concept reflects the themes of Fort Pierce’s culture, history, and future. 

Originality and Creativity: Innovative approaches to mural design and storytelling. 

Feasibility: The ability of the artist to complete the project within the timeline and budget. 

Previous Work: Demonstrated experience and skill in creating large-scale murals or public art installations. 

Funding: The selected artist(s) will receive a stipend of $20 per square feet to cover design, materials, labor, and related expenses. Travel and accommodation costs, if applicable, must be included in the proposed budget. 

Payment Process: Artist(s) will receive a two-part payment. The first payment will be a deposit to start the mural. The final payment is paid at the successful completion of the mural. 

Sealant: Artists are required to seal their murals before completion. 

Agreement: Selected artist(s) must enter into a formal agreement with the City or Fort Pierce before the start of the mural.
