GENERAL INFORMATION
**This call is open to Faculty and Studio Program Managers of the Indy Art Center and Fishers Art Center only. **
We are excited to announce the call for our Faculty Exhibition! The exhibition is an opportunity to show Art Center students, patrons, and the Indianapolis community your most recent and exciting work. This is an excellent way to recruit students and we highly encourage your participation.
Jurors will choose artworks for the exhibition from each faculty member who submits an application. Faculty Members can submit up to 6 entries for consideration. Every faculty member who submits an application will have a minimum of one piece accepted for display.
JURYING
The Indy Art Center Faculty Biennial will be juried internally by the exhibitions department. A maximum of 6 entries can be submitted. Participation is guaranteed with the completion of an application- a minimum of 1 submission will be accepted for display per faculty member.
There is no restriction on size, medium, or content of work. The goal of the exhibition is to showcase your point of view as a working artist, educator, and integral member of the diverse tapestry that makes up the Art Center.
The jury committee will pay attention to available gallery space for submitted artworks first and foremost. If space fills and cuts to submitted work need to be made, the committee will consider diversity of media represented in the show and work to showcase artworks that reflect all of the studios and programs at the Indy Art Center.
IMPORTANT DATES

ACCEPTANCE NOTIFICATIONS: EOD April 28, 2025
ARTWORK DROP OFF: 4/29/25- 5/23/25 No artwork drop off should take place during the Broad Ripple Art Fair (5/17 and 5/18).
ARTWORK INSTALLATION: 5/27/25 -6/08/25
EXHIBITION OPENS: 6/09/25
EXHIBITION RECEPTION: TBD
EXHIBITION CLOSES: 07/27/25
ARTWORK PICK UP: 07/28/25-08/03/25
Application Requirements
Faculty members can submit images of up to 6 works to be considered for inclusion in the exhibition. There is no restriction or expectation around media or display of artworks.
The application will also ask for a brief artist statement that may or may not be referenced in promotion of the exhibition or in display materials.
Eligibility Criteria
**This call is open to Faculty and Studio Program Managers of the Indy Art Center and Fishers Art Center only. **
-All media eligible. Installation artists should contact us before applying to ensure compatibility of space.
-Work must be made within the last two years and cannot have been previously shown at the Art Center.
-All work must be original and made by the artist or artist team. Collaborative works made between artists are eligible for inclusion.
-Work must be gallery ready and equipped with any necessary installation hardware.
