The Arts Council Wichita Falls will select 100 pieces for the exhibition ACWF Small Works 2025. The work will be displayed in our West End Gallery from August 1 – October 4, 2025. Artwork must be no larger than 5” x 7” and be wall mounted. All media will be considered, including paint, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture (wall-mounted), digital, and photography.

Awards
The judge is internationally acclaimed miniaturist Marianela de la Hoz. First, second and third place cash prizes will be awarded $500, $250, $100.  Additional prizes for People’s Choice and other selection may be made at the discretion of the Arts Council. 

These awards will be announced at the opening reception. Award money will be distributed within 30 days of award announcements.

Application Requirements

• Artists may submit up to three (3) pieces for consideration. 
• Artwork should be in a completed state (no proposal drawings or incomplete work).

Eligibility Criteria

Artwork
• Artwork must be no larger than 5” x 7” (not including frame)
• Artwork must be wall mounted.  
• Artwork must be original work. 
• All pieces should have secure wire hanging hardware.
• All media will be considered, including paint, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture (wall-mounted), digital, and photography.
• All accepted artists must sign a contract to be included in the exhibit.
• All accepted artists must sign our guidelines agreement to be included in the exhibit.

Shipping/Delivery
Artwork must be received at the Kemp by Tuesday, July 15. Artists are responsible for shipping artwork to and from the exhibit.  Artists must include a prepaid return shipping label at the time of installation.

Sales
Artwork does not have to be for sale.  If artwork is sold, the ACWF will take a 30% commission on the listed sale price and manage all Texas sales tax transactions and reporting.  Artists will receive any available information about the purchaser for their client list.
