A cornerstone of the Sasse Museum of Art's mission is our series of annual juried exhibits. You can view the exhibits from the previous years on the museum's catalog page. These beautiful digital exhibits attract submissions from talented artists worldwide, offering a platform for emerging and established voices. Each juried exhibit is meticulously curated, ensuring a diverse and dynamic presentation of artistic styles and media. 

The exhibition will explore five distinct categories—Architecture, Nature, Abstract, Religious, and People—providing a comprehensive view of AI's potential in artistic innovation. The museum aims to capture diverse perspectives on this technological revolution by welcoming all artists.

Participants will have the opportunity to display their work and contribute to a critical conversation about authorship, creativity, and the emerging role of AI in artistic practice. The selected works will be featured in a digital catalog, which will also be available on Amazon. Up to 100 artists will be selected, with one piece per artist included in the catalog.

Best of Show, Founder's Choice, Juror's Choice, and four selections from each category will be printed and framed for the exhibit, later becoming part of the museum's permanent collection. There will be no additional costs to artists. These pieces will also be featured prominently at the front of the catalog.

Juror

Stephen Childs is a Los Angeles-based artist and educator. He received his MFA from Claremont Graduate University. He has exhibited throughout Los Angeles and internationally, including at the Riverside Art Museum, Long Beach Museum of Art, LAX, and Kobe Design University, Japan. He is a professor and exhibitions director at Azusa Pacific University, overseeing notable exhibitions by artists such as Tim Hawkinson, Judy Pfaff, Tim Bavington, Monique Prieto, and Jason Lee.

Our juried exhibits are used as a fundraiser to support our exhibits and catalogs.
