MY WORLD IN BLUE

a color or a state of mind

A JURIED EXHIBITION FEATURING WORKS IN BLUE

JULY 17-AUGUST 23, 2025

Blue is reminiscent of the summer season. It represents the tranquility of the sea, the vast open horizons of the sky and the still hours before dawn. Blue often symbolizes both serenity and stability, sadness and longing and the depths of human emotion. Blue is a complicated color of polarities.

And so I fell in love with a color—in this case, the color blue—as if falling under a spell.  Maggie Nelson, author
