Show your small-scale artwork in Oakland, California! This is our third national call for entries for small scale artworks in any medium. Last time we showed work by well over a hundred artists with even more space allotted this year to Pint Size 3. Submit your artwork in any medium for a chance to be part of this wide ranging and well attended exhibition!

Transmission Gallery invites submission of small-scale artworks for exhibition in Oakland, California, September 18 – November 1, 2025.  Artists may submit up to 4 artworks. 3D artwork may be up to 7 inches wide x 7 inches deep x 8 inches high. Wall mounted pieces may be up to 7 inches high x 7 inches wide, including the frame, if framed. Accepted artwork must be for sale and may be priced up to $1,200. 

Entries and Fees: Entry fee is $35 for up to 4 pieces/images. If submitting detail shots, please label them as such. Payment is made through CaFÉ via credit card.  Fees are non-refundable.  Please note, submission does not guarantee acceptance to the exhibition.

Important dates:

Submission Deadline: Sunday, July 27, 2025 

Notification of accepted entries: Thursday, August 7, 2024

Delivery of Artwork: Please note, accepted work must either be sent by UPS to a special mailing address or hand delivered to the Gallery: 

If sending by UPS: Artwork must arrive by Thursday, September 1st. Please, do not mail any artwork to the gallery street address. A separate mailing address and shipping instructions will be provided upon acceptance to the exhibition. Pieces sent by UPS must include a prepaid return shipping label. 

In-person delivery to the gallery in Oakland: Sunday, September 7th, or Monday, September 8th, between 11am and 3pm

Exhibition Dates:  September 18 – November 1, 2025

Opening Reception: Saturday, September 20, 2-5 pm 

Artwork Pickup: Sunday, Nov 2nd, or Monday, Nov 3rd between 11am and 3 pm. Artwork sent by UPS will be returned within 2 weeks.

Sales: Transmission Gallery will retain a 50% commission of sold artwork. The Artist's 50% commission will be mailed within 30 days after the close of show.

Application Requirements

Artists nationwide are invited to participate.

Work must be original to the submitting artist, ready to display, and must meet the size specifications. 3D artwork may not exceed 7 inches wide x 7 inches deep x 8 inches high. Wall pieces may not exceed 7 inches high x 7 inches wide and must be properly prepared for hanging.

Artists are welcome to provide a statement, although it is not a requirement.

Accepted artwork must be for sale at the price listed in the submission and must be priced less than $1,200. 

Please note the due dates for UPS and in-person delivery. Work must be on time to be included in the exhibition.
