Honeywell Arts & Entertainment is now accepting submissions for the 2025 Photography Show at the Clark Gallery, one of the most anticipated annual exhibits in the region. This juried competition invites photographers of all ages and experience levels—students, amateurs, and professionals—from across the United States to submit their most compelling work for consideration.

The show features three distinct categories: Color, Black & White (including sepia tones), and Altered Images. Artists may submit up to three pieces total, with the opportunity to enter one or more categories. Due to the high level of interest and limited gallery space, the selection process is competitive, with a typical acceptance rate of around 25%. Cash prizes will be awarded in each category, including a $200 Best of Show award, making this an exciting opportunity for emerging and established photographers alike.

Selected works will be displayed in the Clark Gallery, located in the Porter Lobby of the Honeywell Center in downtown Wabash, Indiana. The gallery, which hosts more than ten exhibitions annually, is recognized for its accessible and well-trafficked setting and for showcasing a diverse range of artists and mediums.

The exhibit will run from August 18 through September 24, with a closing reception scheduled for September 24 at 5:30 p.m.

Artists must apply by the July 11 deadline. The entry fee is $25, and all applicants will be notified of acceptance status by July 25.

Application Requirements

ENTRY FORM, FEE, AND LABELS

  • The entry fee is $25 regardless of the number of pieces submitted. No refunds will be made if entries are not selected.
  • All artwork must be clearly labeled with artist’s name and artwork title. Labels should be attached securely to the back of each entry in the lower left hand corner.

PRESENTATION STANDARDS

  • All entries must be ready for display and include a secure hanging device. Artwork may be either framed with glass or plexiglass or printed on an alternative surface (such as canvas, metal, stand-out, or flat frame).
  • If unframed, canvas prints must be gallery-wrapped with the image extending onto all visible surfaces, with no exposed staples. Photos printed on metal, stand-out, or flat frame styles are allowed.
  • A wire strung between two metal eyehooks is the preferred hanging device. Sawtooth hangers are acceptable but not recommended. The Honeywell Center is not responsible for damage due to hanging device failure.
  • All entries must be at least 5" x 7" in print size. Entries must be no taller than 8.5 ft. tall, no more than 2 ft in depth, no more than 5 ft wide. If a smaller size is required for artistic reasons, contact Carolyn Stoner, Director of Arts, at cstoner@honeywellarts.org for approval.

ACCEPTED WORK

  • HAE staff reserves the right to remove any works from the exhibition based on special installation circumstances or discrepancies between the juried images and actual work.
  • It is the artist’s responsibility to obtain a model release from recognizable subjects in portraits and provide the release only upon request.
  • The Clark Gallery is a public space. The subject matter of entries must be appropriate for all ages. For example, nudity is not allowed.
  • The Honeywell Center has the right to refuse to display an entry based on questionable content.
  • The Honeywell Center is not responsible for damage to artwork during the judging, display, or storage periods.
  • The Honeywell Center may reproduce artwork for promotional and archival reasons.

JUDGING

  • The judge(s) will decide which entries will be accepted for display. Honeywell Center plays no role in the actual judging process. The names of the jurors are not released in advance to protect the integrity of the show.
