KLGs Summer Small Works Juried Show

 Put your hands on art and let your voice be heard at Kehler Liddell Gallery’s Juried Summer Small Works show.

Inspired by the Hands Off movement, Kehler Liddell Gallery invites you to express yourself through art. A community comes together through art. Let it all out on canvas, paper, stone, metal, photography, and more. Show us what it means to you!  

Details:

Hands OFF – Hands On Art will be a juried exhibition of small works to be shown at Kehler Liddell Gallery in New Haven, Connecticut taking place in Summer 2025. There will be an opening reception July 13, 2025 from 2-5pm with an opportunity for artist discussion in additional to regularly held events and open hours at KLG.

Exhibition Dates:  June 26 – July 20, 2025

Opening Reception: July 13, 2025, 2-5pm

●      Deadline to Submit: June 1, 2025 

●      Cost: $35 jurying fee, up to 3 images

●      Accepted Artists Notified: June 9, 2025 by midnight

●      Artwork Drop Off: June 22, 2025 5pm-7pm or June 23, 2025 12pm-5pm  

●      Artwork Pick-Up: July 27, 2025 5pm-7pm or July 28, 2025 10am-12pm

●      Installation Requirements: If special equipment is needed to display your artwork (such as a video or audio component), it is the artist’s responsibility to provide this equipment. KLG has a variety of dark metal pedestals for sculptural works. All artworks should arrive professionally presented and ready to hang.

●      Shipping: It is the artist’s responsibility to pay for shipping and packaging to ensure the safety of your artwork. Please use plexiglass in place of glass for framed artwork. Shipped artwork must arrive by Friday June 20, 2025 to ensure its inclusion in the exhibit. You must include a return shipping label with your work, or it will not be returned.

Application Requirements

●      Artists can submit up to 3 artworks for consideration.

●      Size Limitations: Submitted wall-hanging works should not exceed 24 inches wide and 24 inches tall (and 24 in any direction for sculptural works).

Eligibility Criteria

●      Original works accepted in all media.
