This is a juried event, therefore not all applicants are guaranteed acceptance.

• If Accepted:  a $150 participation fee is due no later than June 20th. This fee helps cover costs of advertising, printed materials and logistics of running this large scale, multi-day event. 
  
  Those who pay their fees soonest will be considered for having photos in early marketing publications.

All Artists:

• Must be 18+
• Must attend the informational meeting (date to be chosen by the accepted artists via a poll) for a Q&A session as well as marketing material distribution.
• Must be available and on site for both days of the event from 10am-6pm. This is a REQUIRMENT. Do not apply if you cannot physically be present for the duration.
• Only share your own original artwork, including artwork submitted in your application. Prints/cards etc. with images of your artwork are acceptable.
• All artists are REQUIRED to contribute to the success of this event by distributing marketing materials including signage, postcards and flyers. If applicable, also share on your social media outlets, newsletter and website. The success of this event is greatly dependent on all participants contributing to the marketing efforts.
• You must have access to an email system. All Tour communication is via email and every artist is responsible for knowing what is contained in these messages. Provide the email address you will use for all Snohomish Studio Tour communications.

Host Studios:

• The Studio Tour Committee will conduct a site visit to your studio space to observe the environment in person after the artist jury process is complete.
• Artists may be accepted to the tour, and their studio may not be. There is room for many artists, but there will be a limited amount of studios accepted to ensure visitors can get to all of them over the weekend.
• Studios should have reasonable parking (or a parking solution).
• Both indoor or outdoor is acceptable for hosting other artists.
• Studio location should have reasonably safe walking conditions.

Priority given to studios who are willing to host other artists. (Data shows studios with multiple artists have the greatest attendance)

Restrictions:

All applicants must reside in, or have studio space within Snohomish, or one of these close/adjacent cities: Clearview, Duvall, Everett, Granite Falls, Index, Lake Stevens, Marysville, Mill Creek, Monroe. Applicants outside of these parameters will not be refunded their application fee. 

As this is a juried event, accepted artists may not invite other artists to show at their space during this event. Inviting artists who didn't apply and go through the proper jury process can water down the quality of this event. This wouldn't be fair to those that did go through the jury process and paid to participate in a special juried event. Accepted artists who break this rule, and the artist that they invite, will be barred from applying to the Snohomish Studio Tour in future years. This does not apply to studios that have other artists as tenants in the same studio building, art galleries that feature multiple artists, or to art centers and artist co-ops so long as the additional artists were a long-term tenant or showing artist prior to the Snohomish Studio Tour. 

Snohomish Studio Tour reserves the right to make and publish changes if the artist does not respond or is unavailable for review/approval of any quotes/statements/bios used for marketing the event. 

If you are accepted, and you have not paid your participation fee by June 20th, your acceptance will be revoked with no application fee refund.
