To complement the simplicity of summer where the best times are had, we are calling artists to showcase the spirit of Pop Art—a genre known for challenging conventions and celebrating popular culture from over the decades. If you’ve been looking for a new opportunity to display your contemporary skills to the world, then our 2nd Annual Pop Art-esque gallery showcase is what you’ve been waiting for. All mediums are welcomed for this chance to share your daring ideas, bold use of color, and mastery of your craft. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a newfound visionary, our gallery offers the perfect platform to elevate your reputation and gain recognition from patrons visiting from around the world. Application Requirements

DETAILS

• All 2D, hanging artwork should not exceed 30” on its longest side, or an additional fee will be required if the piece is invited to participate.
• Sculptures must not be larger than 16” high x 8” wide x 8” deep, and must not exceed 45 lbs in weight.
• Artworks will be judged only by their quality, originality, and relevance to this call.
• Art Scene West will remit 60% of the sales commission to the artist and withhold 40% for gallery expenses.
• Artists selected for the exhibition will have their biographies and artwork images published and promoted through our social media handles and website.
• The in-gallery exhibition will be live from June 17th - August 5th, 2025. (50 days)

TIMELINE

• Submission deadline: May 27th, 2025
• Selected artists will be notified by May 31st.
• Artwork should be delivered to Art Scene West by June 15th.
• The opening reception at the gallery is on Saturday, June 21st.
• Unsold artwork can be retrieved or will be sent back beginning August 6th, 2025.

FEES

There is a $35 submission fee to thoroughly review the artist's work and biography. For artists who are selected into the exhibition, the participation fee is $75. This fee will be paid on our website and helps cover the costs of promoting the exhibition, handling and curating the artwork inside the gallery, and uploading the artist’s content onto our website and social media channels. Artists are responsible for shipping and return-shipping fees.

ARTWORK SUBMISSION IMAGE REQUIREMENTS

Artists are encouraged to send images that will best represent the quality of their artwork to both the Art Scene West curators and its patrons. The images submitted for review will be the same used on the Art Scene West website if selected.

• Only clear and accurate images of an artwork will be considered.
