Call Description

"Rescue Animals"  We are seeking ART that relates to animals that have been abandoned or abused and end up in a rescue center, like our Accidental Animal Rescue and Sanctuary. Or maybe you have adopted an animal that you would like to feature in this Exhibit. It is an open and inclusive international call for ART from ALL artists in ALL mediums to apply.

We are providing some images that you can use as a starting point or you can certainly use any images that you find through a Search Engine, like Google (i.e., rescue animals”) or from your own local resources.

This ART call benefits the Accidental Animal Rescue and Sanctuary. All proceeds will go to feed and provide medical care for the animals that continue to arrive in our Rescue and Sanctuary. Additionally, entry money will also benefit the Sanctuary – where we capture rainwater; help native plant habitat expansion; and maintain surrounding wildlands – where many of the animals that cannot be re-homed live out their lives.

Your work in the Exhibit can be for sale or Not for sale – your choice.

PROSPECTUS The Red Bluff Art Gallery supports artists worldwide. Our gallery shows international ART and has for more than 18 years. We have sponsored more than 300 exhibitions, including international touring exhibitions. Selected art will be displayed online with our established website, social media and collector contacts. The virtual show of Your ARTwork, if selected by the jurors, will be connected directly to You for ART sales. You get 100% of proceeds of any ART if You so choose to sell. Entry fees are used to support the Accidental Animal Rescue Center, which provides sanctuary and habitat for many animals.

THEME This exhibition is about rescue animals – animals that have been abused and/or abandoned. It is also about any animals you may have adopted. REWARDS  Jury Selected Art will be included in our Virtual Exhibition and promoted to our online audience, collectors, art appreciators, social media contacts and press release as appropriate. You can link the Gallery Exhibit on Your artistic resume and promote it to Your social media for further ARTistic benefits. We plan to keep the exhibit active on our website for a minimum of one FULL Year to Benefit all ARTists, Rescue Animals and ART Appreciators including You!

ENTRY FEE  $28 for first entry. $14 per each additional entry to a maximum of 20 image entries. Accepted artwork will be featured in 3D Virtual Gallery Show, promoted and shared. Plus, You will have the option to have Your ART directly linked to Your media contact of choice for further exploration of ART and possible sales, if You choose to sell Your ART. This is also a great way to meet and see fellow Animal Loving ARTists' ART.

Entry fees are non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance of ARTwork. All entry fees will go to cost associated with this call and building the 3D Virtual ART Exhibit, plus the Accidental Animal Rescue Center. Additionally, Your entry fees help support native plant garden habitats, with WateR for Life, that help provide an environmentally wealthy sanctuary for plants and animals while helping capture greenhouse gasses, sequester water for wildlife and recharge water table plus make oxygen for All of US!!

CALENDAR Entries are due by December 18th.  Notification of selections, prizes and online exhibit will begin on January 23th, 2025. Notification will be done by email to the email address You provide during entry process. Please also make sure You enter Your name as You would like it to appear with Your ARTwork titling, should Your ART be selected for the ART exhibit.  The ART exhibit will be listed and visible on our website for a FULL year+ for continued art appreciation visitations and Your resume development.

Application Requirements

APPLICATION All fine art mediums may be entered; Painting, printmaking, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, fiber, digital and photography are acceptable.

REGULATIONS All ARTwork is to be Your original creation and not copied or created in an ART class, seminar or workshop with assistance from instructor. No copyright violations please! By entering You agree that You are the copyright owner, take full responsibility for Your image and You grant us permission to use Your ART image to promote Your ART and our calls for ART. You remain the owner of the image, You grant us selected use for promotion of our ART calls and Your ART with proper credits to You when used online as appropriate.

ENTRY All entries will be handled by CaFE, an online ART entry forum. Artists can join for free and organize artworks for entry on this platform. To enter this show, go to CaFE create an ART entry account, upload Jpeg images as instructed by CaFe. Enter this show for possible selection, prizes and to help the flora, fauna and our environment wealth for all!

Eligibility Criteria

ELIGIBILITY All artists both professional and amateur may enter. We are an inclusive gallery that promotes world unity and we welcome all ARTtists to enter!

SELECTION PROCESS Gallery directors will jury and select with their extensive education and experience in the art world. Personal feedback will be not given by jurors.

ART SALES ART can be for sale or not for sale as You wish. All selected entries will list Your direct website or email details for further contact and possible purchase. You, the ARTist, get 100% of proceeds from Your ART sale and the collector contact for possible future sales for Your career development if You wish to sell Your ART.
