Call Description

We invite artists to submit work for an upcoming exhibition exploring the boundaries of abstract photography. This show seeks to celebrate images that challenge perception, blur reality, and transform the everyday into the extraordinary. Whether through light, texture, movement, or conceptual experimentation, we are looking for bold photographic work that redefines what a photograph can be. All styles and techniques are welcome—digital, analog, pin-hole, experimental. All we ask is you let your lens question, distort, and reimagine.

CALENDAR
Entry deadline: Tuesday, July 15, 2025
Notification of winners and the gallery opening on the Cultural Center website will be completed by Friday, July 25, 2025

AWARDS
First place - $300, second place - $200, and third place - $100.

ENTRY FEE
$20 for first entry and $5 for each additional entry up to maximum of 20 images. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance.

ELIGIBILITY
Open to ALL fine art mediums (oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, digital art) except video.

RULES
Work that is copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible. 

NOTIFICATION
Notification will be done by email. If for any reason you do not receive your notification by the notification date, please check the filters in your email account.

FORMATTING
All images must be in JPEG or JPG format using Café guidelines. The image size must be 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side. Maximum file size is 5 mb.

All sales inquiries will be directed to the artist.
