E L I G I B I L I T Y
The competition is open to photographers 18 years of age or older, excluding members of fotofoto gallery. Image capture must have been made with the camera on your phone. Any phone!

 NOTE: No images created using Artificial Intelligence will  be accepted. 

All submitted images must not have been exhibited at fotofoto gallery before.

FOR ACCEPTED ENTRIES
Approximately 30 photographs will be chosen for a four-week exhibition in August / September 2025. Upon completion of the jury process, images will be printed by fotofoto gallery.  No need for you to print, frame or ship your work. The exhibition will be installed salon-style in our beautiful gallery space

ABOUT FOTOFOTO GALLERY
fotofoto gallery, formed in 2003, is the oldest fine art photography gallery on Long Island. The photography collective exhibits photographers with independent vision, focus and purpose and is dedicated to encouraging and promoting the artistic development of its members and the greater photographic community. 

Located in the heart of Huntington, NY, fotofoto gallery hosts an extensive calendar of members' solo and group exhibitions, workshops, salons, special events and competitions including Pop-up Shows, Your Best Shot, Phone-ography, Invitationals and National Open-Photography Competitions and Exhibitions. We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

ABOUT THE JUROR
Sandra Carrion - Fine Art Photographer and Educator  

Sandra Carrion is a visionary photographer celebrated for her inventive and artistic approach to capturing the world. With a keen eye for both traditional and modern techniques, Sandra excels in unveiling the hidden beauty in everyday scenes, constantly reinventing her perspective to reveal the extraordinary within the ordinary.

Sandra has made substantial contributions to the photography community through her roles as a former director of Soho Photo Gallery and as the founder of the renowned International Krappy Kamera Competition and Exhibition.

She also played a pivotal role in establishing fotofoto Gallery in Huntington and co-founded Image Factory Experimental Photography Workshops. Her expertise and passion extend to the classroom, where she has taught Digital and Experimental Photography at Nassau Community College, Adelphi University and LIU CW Post College inspiring the next generation of photographers.
 

FEES AND DEADLINES
FEES: 5 images - $40. Images 6 -15 may be submitted for an additional charge of $5 per image.

DEADLINES: Submission Deadline: August 14, 2025, midnight (standard mountain time)

Notification of Acceptance:  August 21, 2025 by email
Exhibition Dates:                 August 28 – September 20, 2025

Application Requirements

All entries must be submitted via the CaFE system. Mail-in entries will not be considered.
Images must be 2048 pixels on the long side and conform to CaFE formatting standards. Instructions can be found in the CaFE help
section.
There is no theme for this show - just send us your finest phone images.
