Project Vision

The mural should embody Orlando’s iconic landmarks, culture, and diversity, offering a dynamic and inviting visual experience for travelers. Concepts should incorporate:

• Orlando’s iconic destinations, such as Lake Eola Fountain, Universal Orlando, Walt Disney World, Camping World Stadium, Kia Center, and Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
• Scenes of community and outdoor life, including families, pedestrians, and nature or “Welcome to Orlando” lettering.

Eligibility

This opportunity is open to professional artists and artist teams with experience in large-scale mural installations. Local Central Florida artists are strongly encouraged to apply.

Project Details & Budget

• Wall Dimensions: 6.5 feet high x 265 feet long
• Surface: Brick (to be painted a solid base color prior to mural installation)
• Budget: 20k-30k (includes artist fee, materials, and installation)
• Deadline for Submissions: July 6, 2025 11:59pm

Application Requirements

Please submit concept images of the proposed mural along with examples of previous large-scale mural projects.

Budget must include all installation equipment and materials.

Eligibility Criteria

This opportunity is open to local Orlando artists experienced in designing and implementing large-scale public art projects. Submissions will only be considered from artists with a proven track record of completing similar projects on time and within budget. 

Artist must provide proof of insurance.
