Le Salon TAG/The Artists Gallery Annual Unjuried Show
August 1 – 31, 2025
Reception Saturday, August 2, 5-8pm
Gallery Hours Fri–Sat 12-8pm, Sun 12-4pm
TAG/The Artists Gallery offers its walls to artists from around the region with its annual unjuried exhibit, Le Salon. Up to 115 eclectic, exuberant and fun works by guest artists will be on view. Visitors are sure to find plenty to like. This art-filled extravaganza opens on August 1, 2025. A reception will be held from 5 to 8 pm on August 2, when visitors can meet the artists and enjoy refreshments during the First Saturday event. The show closes on August 31, 2025.
Eligibility
Open to all artists 18+ years living within 50 miles of Frederick, Maryland and not currently represented by TAG/The Artists Gallery. Eligible artworks include (but not limited to) original paintings, drawings, prints, mixed media, photographs, and sculpture. NO reproductions.
Size Limits
2-D work cannot be any larger than 30" x 30" including the frame. Work must be framed and ready to hang or mount on the wall with securely attached wires or cleat system. No sawtooth hangers. When appropriate, work must be framed behind glass or plexiglass. Wet canvases, wet frames, and entries mounted behind glass without frames will not be accepted. 3-D work must fit on a 15” x 15” pedestal with a height of no more than 30" and a maximum weight of 35 lbs. No work can be suspended from the ceiling nor sit on the floor.
Entry Fee
Non-refundable fee of $30.00 for one work, $10.00 for each additional work up to 3 works total. Entry forms must be completed and submitted online only through CaFÉ.
Entries
All entries must be submitted electronically. No changes of information will be possible after submission.
Acceptance
Register early. Only the first 115 artworks will be accepted to this unjuried exhibit. Work will be accepted on CaFÉ until Sunday, July 20, 2025 or when the call to entry is full. Only preregistered work will be accepted.
Sales
TAG/The Artists Gallery receives 30% commission on all work sold during the exhibition. Work that is not for sale must be listed N.F.S. Prices submitted at time of entry cannot be adjusted later. Le Salon is a cash & carry exhibit. Artists will be notified of sold work. Unsold work must remain until the end of the exhibit.
Delivery of Work
There is no option for shipping work. All work must be hand-delivered to the gallery only on the following days:
- Friday, July 26, noon–8 pm
- Saturday July 27, noon–8 pm
- Sunday, July 28, noon–4 pm
Artist’s name and title must be on the front of each work.
Pick Up of Work
All unsold work must be picked up from the gallery on the following days:
- Sunday, August 31, from noon–4 pm
- Monday, September 1, from 3–7 pm
Again, there is no option for shipping work. The artist is responsible for the pick-up of their work.
Liability Waiver
TAG/The Artists Gallery (TAG) will take appropriate precautions in processing, handling and exhibiting artwork of exhibition participants. By agreeing to present artwork with TAG, the artist agrees to waive all claims, and indemnifies TAG without limitation, and the artist accepts any risk of loss, related to their participation in TAG exhibits.
