Call Description

Members may submit UP TO THREE PIECES of art for the juror’s consideration. We strive to include at least one work of art from each participating artist in the exhibition. The exhibition will be held at the Community Arts Center, 414 Plush Mill Road, Wallingford, PA 19086, and will run from September 6 through October 11, 2025 (closing at 2 PM). Gallery hours are available here. https://communityartscenter.org/about/,

Juror Awards:

First Prize: $300

Second Prize: $200

Third Prize: $100

Three Honorable Mentions: one-year AE membership

Important Dates:

** Artwork Delivery: Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 11 AM to 2 PM

** Artists’ Reception: Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 2–4 PM.

** Pickup of Unsold Artwork: Monday, October 13, 2025, from 11 AM to 2 PM.
If you cannot retrieve your work personally, please arrange for someone you trust to pick it up on your behalf.
 

Application Requirements

Eligibility & Presentation Guidelines

Original 2D and 3D artwork in any medium is welcome. To accommodate as many members as possible, work must not exceed 48 inches in width, including the frame, and 10 feet in height. All pieces must be ready for display with secure wire hanging—no sawtooth hangers. Works must be either framed or have professionally finished edges. Please affix a label to the front with: Artist’s Name, Title, Medium, and Price. All artwork must be for sale; no “Not for Sale” (NFS) pieces will be displayed. 

3D/pedestal work is limited to 12 inches wide and deep, and up to 36 inches high. 3D artists have the option to submit up to four images per piece (front, back, left, and right views). SO IF YOU SUBMIT THREE PIECES, YOU CAN SHOW UP TO 12 IMAGES.

2D artists would submit at most three images. 

The Community Arts Center reserves final authority on which works are included in the exhibition. All sales will be handled by the Center, which retains a 40% commission. Artists Equity takes no commission.

🔔 Important:
– Please do not submit work that has been shown in an Artists Equity exhibition within the past four years.

Artists Equity exhibitions are open exclusively to current members. Non-members who submit without joining will not be considered for inclusion—no exceptions.

Membership Fees: $ 60/year; $15/year for full-time art students (must use a valid art school email).
