Bella Fine Art Artist Competition

Bella Fine Art Gallery invites Arizona-based artists to submit up to three images of their paintings, sculpture, or photography for our juried competition. Unlike many themed competitions, Emerging Voices 2025 is open in subject matter and style. Along with the images, artists should include a short bio, website link, and social-media handle. Selected artists will have the chance to display and sell their work in our Scottsdale gallery and benefit from extensive publicity,  apprenticeships with established artists, and a growing list of career and income bosting benefits from our sponsors. 

Timeline

July 25, 2025: Applications open.

August 31, 2025, 11:59 p.m. MST: Application deadline.

September 1 – 5, 2025: The jury meets to choose finalist.

September 6, 2025: Contestants notified if they made it to final round.

September 13 – 14, 2025: Finalists will exhibit their work during a special weekend show at Bella Fine Art Gallery, where the public can view, judge and purchase works that are for sale.

September 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM, Results will be emailed to finalist. 

September 17, 12:00PM-Winners art will be posted on Instagram with artist recognition. 

Finalists will be chosen based on the quality of their submission portfolios, and the overall winners will be determined through a combination of jury scores and public response during the exhibition.

Application Requirements

You will submit the following information on the application platform: 

• Artist Biography (150-300 words)
  Tell us about your background, artistic journey, and influences.
• Artist Statement (150-300 words)
  Share the concept, themes, or inspiration behind your work.
• Artwork Images

Submit 1-3 high-quality images of your artwork.

Artwork Details
For each submitted piece, include: Your name,Title,Medium,Dimensions,Price (if for sale)

Website or Social Media Links (optional)
 

Eligibility Criteria

✅ Who Can Apply:

Emerging and established artists residing in Arizona age 18 years or older.

✅ Artwork Requirements:

Original wall art only (painting, mixed media, photography,  or other 2D works).

Artwork must be ready to hang (wired or with proper hanging hardware).

Work must be created by the submitting artist; no third-party submissions or reproductions of other artists’ works.

✅ Other Criteria:

Must be able to deliver and pick up artwork from Bella Fine Art Gallery in Scottsdale, AZ.

Artwork must be available for display during the full exhibition period.

Artists must agree to the gallery’s standard exhibition terms and commission structure if works are for sale.
