Call Description
Corrales Bosque Gallery (CBG), an artist-owned cooperative located in the historic village of Corrales, New Mexico, invites artists to submit up to 3 original, professionally executed 2D works for our upcoming juried show, THE BLUES.
This exhibition seeks high-quality artwork that reflects depth, originality, and a thoughtful interpretation of the theme: THE BLUES. We encourage you to explore this theme through personal, cultural, historical, or symbolic lenses. Successful submissions will go beyond surface-level ideas, demonstrating strong conceptual development and technical skill.
We welcome submissions in a range of 2D media—painting, drawing, mixed media, printmaking, and more—whether traditional, abstract, contemporary, or experimental.
This exhibition is intended for mid-career and established artists. While we value all artistic journeys, this show is not designed for students, hobbyists, or emerging artists still developing technical proficiency. Submissions should reflect a high level of craftsmanship, originality, and conceptual depth.
The exhibition will be on display for one month in our professional gallery setting, which has a long-standing reputation for showcasing exceptional regional talent.

- Maximum size: 400 total inches (H x W, including frame). For example, a framed 18” x 22” piece equals 396 inches.
