The Granbury Cultural Arts Commission is thrilled to announce a unique opportunity to showcase your creativity! We’re seeking original art submissions for a stunning mosaic installation on the exterior windows of the historic Granbury Opera House.

We’re looking for vibrant, text-free artwork that celebrates the essence of Granbury—its rich history, natural beauty, and charming flora. The selected design will be adapted into three and six mosaic window panels, creating a lasting visual tribute to our beloved community.

This call is specifically for the artist's image intended for artwork to be transformed into mosaic panels. The project's scope includes the installation of two images: one that can be segmented into six sections and another into three sections, resulting in a cohesive full image. Each section will be crafted from mosaic tile panels and installed in the exterior windows of the Opera House. The six-window grouping will be situated on the south side of the building, overlooking the lake, while the three-window section will be located on the east side, facing Bridge Street and also visible from Pearl Street.

 Submission Requirements:

• Concept design with a detailed narrative
• Full budget breakdown, including all associated costs and fees
• Examples of past installed works to demonstrate experience
• Commission reserves the right to request additional information as needed during the review process

The project is open to all artists age 18 and over.
