This annual show is the most anticipated of the year. As the name suggests, this exhibition features pieces created by artists working in a wide variety of media from all over the 65,000 square miles that make up Florida. The juried entries come together for an award-winning and exciting exhibition representing today’s contemporary Florida artists. The exhibition will be on display March 6 – 28, 2026.

ABOUT THE JUROR: Tim Jaeger is a working artist, longtime Director and Chief Curator of Galleries + Exhibitions at Ringling College of Art and Design, and co-owner of Sarasota’s 502 Gallery. Over the past two decades, he has curated and organized more than 225 exhibitions, collaborating with leading artists, institutions, and curators to bring dynamic programming to the region. In addition to his curatorial work, Jaeger has served as a juror for numerous prestigious exhibitions and festivals across the country, drawing on his deep knowledge of contemporary practice and commitment to supporting emerging and established artists alike. As an artist, Jaeger maintains an active studio practice with work exhibited nationally and internationally. An advocate for the arts in Sarasota and beyond, he continues to champion opportunities that connect artists with audiences and strengthen the cultural landscape.

ELIGIBILITY & ENTRY FEE: Open to all artists residing in Florida. Only original artwork will be accepted, no giclee. Categories are painting (including oil, acrylic, collage, watercolor, and mixed media), drawing, photography, sculpture, ceramics, metalsmithing, glass, digital media, video, printmaking, fiber, or textiles.  An entry consists of 1 to 3 artworks. Non-refundable Entry Fee is $25.00 for one entry and $5 for each additional entry up to 3.

AWARDS- $1000 cash for Best in Show, 2nd Place- $300 Gift Certificate to Blick Art Materials, 3rd Place-$150 cash, Juror's Choice Award-Artist Membership ($75 value)

Exhibit Dates: March 6 – March 28, 2026

Deadline for Entries: Thursday, January 22, 2026, by 11:59 pm

Email Notification of Acceptance or Rejection: Tuesday, February 10th

Drop off Accepted Work: Monday, March 2, 2026, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Opening Reception: Friday, March 6 from 5 – 7 p.m.
Pick up accepted work: Monday, March 30, 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Application Requirements

DEADLINE FOR ENTRY:

All entries must be submitted online no later than January 22, 2026, by 11:59 pm. No materials will be accepted at the Alliance. Upload digital images of artwork in JPG or PNG format.

 SPECIFICATIONS:

All 2D artwork must be wired and ready to hang and not exceed six feet in any direction. All 3D artwork must not exceed six feet in any direction or 150 lbs. All artwork must have been completed in the last two years and not previously shown at the Alliance. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs.
