Call Description

Teeny Tiny BOLD | National Small Works Exhibition at Rountree Gallery
Exhibition Dates: November 20, 2025 – January 10, 2026
Two Receptions: Artist Sunday, November 30 | 11 - 2 p.m. CT and Artist Reception, Friday, December 5 | 4–7 p.m. CT
Location: Rountree Gallery, 120 W. Main Street, Platteville, Wisconsin

Rountree Gallery invites artists nationwide to submit work for Teeny Tiny BOLD, our annual juried small works exhibition celebrating the power of the compact. We challenge artists to consider the impact of compression, scale, intimacy, and restraint—what makes a small piece bold?

All media welcome. Open to any subject or theme, as long as the finished work does not exceed 12 inches in any direction, including frame, base, or any other mounting.

This exhibition includes two artist receptions. The first will be held on Artists Sunday, November 30—a national campaign that encourages support for artists during Thanksgiving weekend. The second will be an in-person Artist Reception on Friday, December 5. Exhibiting artists are encouraged to attend the receptions if feasible, and to help promote the exhibit on social media.
