Call Description
“It’s Ok, But It Ain't Right” explores the space between complacency and confrontation - the grey zones of acceptance, dysfunction, and dissonance. This exhibition seeks work that challenges what we tolerate, what we overlook, and what we know in our gut doesn’t sit right — socially, politically, emotionally, or personally.
We invite artists to respond to this theme with interpretations that are raw, humorous, critical, or subtle. Whether it’s a quiet resistance or a loud refusal, we want to see work that speaks to the things we’ve come to accept... but shouldn’t.
Color palettes that clash but sing. Those bold, rule-breaking combinations that shouldn’t work, but do because of energy and contradiction.
