Juror: Violet Rose-Arma
Violet Rose Arma (she/her/hers) is an art museum professional in Tucson, Arizona. She
currently acts as Curatorial Assistant and Administrative Support at the University of Arizona
Museum of Art (UAMA) with a multitude of responsibilities including curating exhibitions,
researching new acquisitions, and managing daily operations. She was awarded the honor of
Excellence in Service for Office and Administration at Arizona Arts at the University of Arizona in
2024.
Violet grew up in Tubac, Arizona and is honored to act as juror for the 2025 Members’ Juried
Exhibition at the Tubac Center of the Arts. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Art History summa
cum laude from Arizona State University in 2020. Her love of the subject inspired her to
continue her academic career at Harvard University, where she obtained a Masters of Liberal
Arts in Museum Studies with a concentration in Exhibition Design. She received recognition for
her capstone project, “Exhibition Design for All: How Experiencing Art Beyond Sight Can Benefit
Sighted and Non-Sighted Art Museum Visitors,” in 2023 when she was awarded the Director’s
