Call Description
Wild Whimsy: The Fantastical Natural World is a winter group show in View’s Eco Gallery. We invite artists working in all mediums and are looking for works that are fun & fantastical with a natural twist. Your work should invite viewers to reimagine their relationship with the natural world.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Artwork that evokes a playful reverence for nature
• No living plants, perishable organics, or liquids (winter climate + museum policy)

HOW TO APPLY
- Submission Deadline: Oct 31, 2025
- Juror of Selection: Nov 3–4, 2025
- Selection Notification: Nov 5, 2025 (via email/CaFÉ)

• Descriptions of submitted works
• High-resolution images or video links
• CV or short bio (optional but encouraged)
Eligibility Criteria
ELIGIBILITY
This call is open to emerging and established artists working in:
• Painting, sculpture, digital media, installation, and animation
• Whimsical, playful, or imaginative tones
We strongly encourage submissions from:
• Artists exploring fantastical imagery or childlike wonder
• Artists of all backgrounds, identities, and aesthetic traditions
• Artists working locally, regionally, or internationally
ARTWORK GUIDELINES
• Work must incorporate elements of whimsy or fantastical imagery
• Light-hearted, imaginative, or absurdist themes preferred over dark or heavy tones
• Artists may submit up to 5 works for consideration
SUBMISSION DETAILS
• Deadline: October 31, 2025
• Up to 5 images or concept sketches
• Short statement (max 250 words) on how your work fits the theme
• Basic material list + installation notes
• Submit via CaFÉ
COMPENSATION
• Sales allowed; View retains 35% commission
• Work must remain on view for full exhibition duration
