Call Description

Faces 2026: Windows to the Soul

A face is never silent—it speaks volumes without a word.

Exhibizone proudly presents Faces 2026, the annual international juried exhibition, promotion, and sales opportunity that celebrates the timeless and universal language of the face.

Faces are more than appearances. They are our most immediate way of connecting—mirrors of identity, carriers of memory, and storytellers of joy, sorrow, resilience, and hope. From the deeply personal to the mythic, from the human to the imagined, every face reveals a world waiting to be seen.

Why Faces 2026?

In an era when faces are often reduced to fleeting images on screens, to pause and create a face through art is a radical act of presence. Faces remind us of our shared humanity, our differences, and the emotions that bind us together across cultures and generations.

By joining Faces 2026, you take part in more than an exhibition. You become part of a global dialogue that values empathy, identity, and connection. Beyond recognition and awards, this is your chance to let your art leave an imprint—touching viewers and carrying stories that words cannot.

Themes and Topics to Explore

Faces 2026 welcomes diverse interpretations across styles, media, and vision. Your work may explore (including not limited to):

Classic Portraiture: Timeless approaches to capturing likeness in painting, drawing, or sculpture.

Self-Faces: Self-portraits that reflect vulnerability, transformation, or inner truth.

Family and Friends Faces: Love, tenderness, and belonging in the faces closest to us.

Group Faces: Communities, social circles, or collective identity reflected in shared expressions.

Cultural and Heritage Faces: The richness of tradition, ethnicity, and attire expressed through the face.

Faces of Feeling: Expressions of grief, joy, serenity, longing, ecstasy—faces as vessels of pure emotion.

Psychological Faces: Faces revealing turmoil, healing, resilience, or states of mind.

Imagined or Fictional Faces: Characters from myths, dreams, or invented worlds.

Symbolic and Conceptual Faces: Abstract, surreal, or symbolic works that suggest or transform the human visage.

Faces of Childhood: Innocence, curiosity, and vulnerability found in young faces.

Aging Faces: Traces of time, wisdom, fragility, and dignity carried in older faces.

Faces in Motion: Expressions caught in movement—laughter, speech, or fleeting gestures.

Hidden and Fragmented Faces: Masked, layered, or broken visages reflecting identity, concealment, or duality.

Faces of History and Literature: Iconic or reimagined depictions of figures that shaped collective memory.

Spiritual or Sacred Faces: Divine, mythical, or religious representations, both traditional and reinterpreted.

Animal and Hybrid Faces: Pets, wild creatures, or human-animal hybrids that evoke emotion and imagination.

Faces in Nature and Objects: Faces glimpsed in clouds, stone, or patterns in the world around us.

Environmental Faces: The marks of climate, place, or natural forces etched into human or imagined visages.

Digital and New Media Faces: Photography, AI-inspired, or digital renderings exploring identity in modern times.

Faces of the Future: Speculative visions of how faces may appear in new worlds or imagined societies.

Abstract Faces: Deconstructed, stylized, or non-literal interpretations of the face, where shape, color, and form replace realistic detail.

If selected by jury, you will:

✅ Be showcased in a smart online international group exhibition, visited by thousands of art lovers, experts, and collectors
✅ Be featured on Artsy.net, reaching a wide network of collectors and curators
✅ Be published in the official exhibition catalog, archived, and promoted for extended visibility
✅ Receive promotion across social media and art media
✅ Be eligible for editorial reviews, interviews, and audience feedback

But more than any benefit, Faces 2026 offers you the chance to share your art as part of a global artistic meditation on presence, silence, and the beauty of pause.

Why This Matters?

A face is a story, a memory, a connection. To create a face in art is to honor life itself, to make visible the invisible, and to remind us that behind every image is a human spirit—or the echo of one.

Faces 2026 is your invitation to show the world what faces mean to you. Submit your work, and let your art speak through the universal language of the face.

If selected, there is a USD 35 selection fee.

Submit up to 6 artworks; a maximum of two artworks will be accepted from each artist.

Jury Process

We use two phases for jurying. The first phase of jurying is the Yes/No selection, and the 2nd part is the scoring model. For scoring, each jury member scores artworks from 1 to 10. Artworks with the highest scores in the "Yes" group will be selected.

Why Selection Fee?

Submission to this art opportunity is free of charge, and we only ask the selected artists to pay a small fixed fee to proceed.

This decision was made in good faith because we wanted artists to only pay when selected. We have a thorough jury process as our art opportunities are popular and have a low acceptance rate.

A money-back guarantee is available for all selection fee payments until the exhibition's official opening day.
