Call Description
Entry Fee/Images:
$35 non-refundable entry fee for the submission of two pieces, $5 additional for up to 6 pieces. Each artist or artist team may submit up to six pieces of work for jurying.
Eligibility:
-This exhibit is open to all artists over the age of 18 residing in the United States.
-Work must be made within the last two years and cannot have been previously shown at the Art Center.
-All work must be original and made by the artist or artist team. Collaborative works made between artists are eligible for inclusion.
-Artworks must connect to the natural world in some way, through media, subject matter, or concept. Jurors will approach the concept of the Natual World with an encompassing definition including traditional techniques and contemporary methods of making. The exhibition is intended to offer a range in perspectives as it comes to the natural world's influence on contemporary art.
Media:
-All media eligible, although work must have a tie-in to the natural world, literally or figuratively, as subject matter. Installation artists should contact us before applying to ensure compatibility of space.
-2D artwork must not weigh more than 250 pounds or be bigger than 7’ x 7’.
Awards:
Best in Show - $300.00
Best in 2D (includes video) - $150.00
Best in 3D (includes installation) - $150.00
Curator's Choice- $150.00
Awards will be announced at the Opening Reception in a public ceremony. It is encouraged that artists attend the reception but not required.
Accepted Work:
-The Fishers Art Center exhibitions staff reserves the right to remove any works from the exhibition based on special installation circumstances or discrepancies between the juried images and actual work.
-All accepted work must remain on display until the end of the exhibition, April 10th, 2026
-All work must come ready to install/hang. For multi-media and other installations artist should be available to assist with installation (to take place January 5th-8th, 2026.)
-All work may be offered for sale. The Art Center retains a 35% commission on all sales.
Delivery:
-All artwork must arrive by EoD Tuesday, December 23rd. Artist is responsible for the shipping cost and insurance of the work while in transit. Work must be shipped in a reusable container and return shipping is also to be paid by the artist. Hand-delivered work may be dropped off beginning 11/25/25 through 12/23/25
-The Art Center is open:
Monday – Friday 9a.m. – 10p.m.
Saturday 9a.m. – 6p.m.
Sunday Noon – 6p.m.
December 8th-December 23rd, the Art Center will be on its Non-Programming Hours meaning its hours will be Monday-Friday 9am-4:30pm and closed Saturday, Sunday. Please note this if you plan to hand deliver your artworks.
Liability:
-The Art Center will be responsible for insuring the exhibition while on view, and upon request will furnish a certificate of insurance indicating that the works are so insured prior to transportation. The Artist is responsible for providing an itemized insurance list on the Art Center’s form. This form will be emailed to the artists once accepted into the exhibition.

Artwork Delivery: 11/26/2025- 12/23/2026 (the Art Center will be closed for its holidays 11/27-11/30, 12/24-01/02 so no artwork delivery should occur during this period.)

Opening Reception: Friday, 01/09/26 6-8pm.
