MEMBERS’ SHOW 2026

Call for Entry

Location: Florida CraftArt, 501 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, FL

Exhibition Dates: January 31 – February 28, 2026

Vision: Florida CraftArt members are invited to submit work to this year’s juried Members’ Show held at the Florida CraftArt gallery in St. Petersburg, Florida. This exhibition showcases the finest contemporary glass, jewelry, fiber, wood, ceramics, metals, printmaking, and mixed media. With hundreds of skilled and accomplished artist members across Florida and the U.S., this promises to be an exceptional exhibition! Cash awards!

Guest Judge: Members’ Show 2026 awards will be selected by guest judge Allison McCarthy. McCarthy is a curator and exhibition designer with over 20 years of experience in the arts. She most recently served for a decade at The Dalí Museum (2015–2025), where she produced numerous acclaimed exhibitions and implemented major curatorial projects. A graduate of the Savannah College of Art & Design, she also pursued graduate studies in art history at Florida State University. Her career spans leadership roles at the Clearwater Arts Alliance, Center for Contemporary Art (Santa Fe, NM), art4business, Inc. (London), and LeMoyne Center for the Visual Arts (Tallahassee). A native Floridian, Allison is passionate about visual storytelling, public art, and cultural accessibility. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys exploring local art scenes, traveling, and spending time with her twin teenage daughters and her dog, Maisie.

Awards:

-          First Place: $250

-          Second Place: $150

-          Third Place: $100

-          People’s Choice Award (announced after close of exhibition): $50 FCA gift certificate

Dates & Deadlines:

Submission Deadline: Sunday, November 23, 2025 at 11:59pm EST

Acceptance Notification via Email: Monday, December 1, 2025

Signed Exhibition Contract: Due with artwork (printed) or by email to gallery@floridacraftart.org by Monday, December 29, 2025.

Artwork Receiving:

-          In person: Tuesday, January 20; or Wednesday, January 21, or Thursday, January 22, 2026 between 10:30am and 5:00pm. (No appointment needed.)

-          Shipping: Must be received by Friday, January 16, 2026. (Artist is responsible for incoming and outgoing shipping costs.)

Exhibition Dates: January 31 – February 28, 2026

Opening Reception & Award Announcements: Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 6-8pm (Awards at 6:30pm)

People’s Choice Award announced (online): Friday, March 13, 2026

Artwork Pick-Up:

-          In person: Tuesday, March 3, Wednesday March 4, or Thursday, March 5, 2026 between 10:30am and 5:00pm. (No appointment needed.)

-          Shipping: Artwork will be shipped back within 7 days of the close of the exhibition, once artist has paid for return shipping costs.

About Florida CraftArt: Florida CraftArt (FCA) is a member-supported, statewide 501c3 nonprofit organization headquartered in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg’s arts and culture district. Fine craft artwork by more than 200 Florida-based artists is presented in the 2,500-square-foot retail gallery and in the adjacent exhibition space, which features curated exhibitions and programming. FCA’s goal is to elevate fine craft as a recognized economic generator for Florida, nurture emerging artists, exhibit and promote fine craft artists, provide high-quality exhibitions, and broaden educational programming for the community.

Application Requirements

Entry Guidelines:

1.      Artist must be a current member of Florida CraftArt (FCA) with an active membership through March 6, 2026. Note you do not need to live in Florida to be a member! Become a member or renew your membership online at www.floridacraftart.org/membership or email admin@floridacraftart.org.

2.      Applications must be submitted online through Sunday, November 23, 2025 at 11:59pm EST via the application on CallforEntry.org.

3.      Each artist may submit up to 5 artworks for consideration.

4.      All artwork must be in Fine Crafts media, including clay, jewelry, glass, fiber, wood, metal, mixed media, and printmaking. (Contact gallery@floridacraftart.org if you have questions about media eligibility.)

5.      All work must be original in concept, design, and execution. Small production studio work will be considered. Work created in a class, workshop, or from a kit or purchased pattern is not eligible.

6.      Artwork must be made within the last 3 years.

7.      Artwork previously exhibited with FCA will not be considered.

8.      Artwork must be for sale.

9.      Artwork images submitted with the application may be used by FCA for marketing and promotional purposes directly related to Members’ Show 2026 only. Reproduction rights and copyright of artwork remains exclusively with the artist.

Eligibility Criteria

Exhibition Guidelines

1.      Each accepted artwork must arrive with labeling (artist name, artwork title, media, retail price) securely affixed to the artwork or its packaging.

2.      Artwork must arrive ready to install or with limited assembly. If artwork requires special installation considerations, you must contact gallery@floridacraftart.org prior to dropping off.

3.      Artists who are shipping work are responsible for all shipping costs to and from FCA, including insurance, which is strongly encouraged.

4.      No substitutions for accepted artwork will be allowed.

5.      FCA reserves the right to decline display of artwork that arrives damaged, poorly constructed, inaccurately represented, or inadequately prepared for installation. In these cases, artist will be responsible for pick-up or return shipping costs.

6.      All artwork must remain in possession of FCA and on display until February 28, 2026.

7.      FCA will insure artwork for 55% of the retail value while in FCA’s possession on consignment. Artists are strongly encouraged to purchase shipping insurance when shipping artwork to or from FCA.
