Call Description
Artlink Contemporary Gallery is a non-profit creative art space and gallery supporting artists through exhibition, education and community engagement in Fort Wayne, IN since 1978.
Held annually, Artlink's Midwest Regional is a juried group exhibition open to Midwest artists working in any medium. This exhibition celebrates the incredible work being created right here in the Midwest and offers 3 cash awards!
Midwest states include Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Kansas.

About the Juror
Dominic Mangila is an artist-educator based in Bloomington, IN. He is an assistant professor of painting at Indiana University - Bloomington’s Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture and Design. He holds an MFA degree in visual arts from Columbia University where he taught in the visual arts department and a BFA degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He had solo exhibitions at Tokyo Gendai, Vargas Museum and Drawing Room in Manila, Reserve Ames in Los Angeles, Marvelli Gallery in New York and Alberta Society of Printmakers Canada. He has an upcoming solo exhibition at Neiman Gallery at Columbia University in New York City in January 2026 and group exhibitions at 2026 Art SG and The Columns Gallery in Singapore. He participated in group exhibitions such as 2018 Gwangju Biennale, 2023 Frieze Seoul, 2022 Melbourne Art Fair, 2018 Asia Art Fair Paris, 2022 SEA Focus Singapore, 2015 Art Hamptons, Neiman Gallery and Wallach Galleries of Columbia University and Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts in New York City, Metropolitan Museum Manila, Mind Set Art Taipei etc. He participated in art residencies such as Skowhegan, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Yaddo, Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts in New York City, Woodstock Byrdcliffe and Seven Below Arts Initiative. He received a New York Community Trust Art Grant, Lotos Club Foundation Art Award, D' Arcy Trust Fund, Agnes Martin Fellowship, Chicago Community Art Grant and 2024 New Jersey Individual Artist Fellowship. His works have been reviewed by Hyperallergic, Artsy and Beautiful/ Decay. He is the director of Gossamer which is an artist collective that is comprised of 20 painters based in Manila.

The exhibition will run Jan 8 - Feb 8, 2026 with an opening reception on Thursday, Jan 8 from 5-8PM.
Sales
All artwork sales are subject to a 35% sales fee. Artists will be mailed a check for sold work following the close of the exhibition.
Liability
Artwork will be insured during exhibition at Artlink. Artlink is not liable for damage or loss in transit to the gallery. Any damage caused by improper preparations by the artist will not be covered by Artlink.
Presentation
All works must be ready for installation upon delivery. Any works not presented professionally (i.e damaged or differing from what was accepted) may not be accepted for exhibition. Framed artwork must be ready to hang with wire. Unframed 2D artwork must arrive with hanging mechanism (magnets, gromets, pins, etc). If your work requires special installation instructions, please contact ellen@artlinkfw.org prior to the submission deadline. Identification labels with artist name and title should be attached to the back of the work.
Hand-Delivery
Hand-delivered artwork is accepted during gallery hours, Thursday 10am - 8pm, Friday/Saturday 10am - 6pm, and Sunday 12 - 5pm.
Shipping
Artwork that is shipped must be sent through UPS, FedEx or USPS and must include a return shipping label. Artwork must arrive at Artlink by December 14, 2025 at the latest to be included. Shipped work must be framed with plexiglass, no glass permitted. Any damages that occur during shipping must be covered by the artist. In such an occurrence, the Exhibition Coordinator will contact the artist for a credit card number to facilitate repairs. Please, no crates or Styrofoam peanuts. Open to the Midwest states of Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Kansas.

Media: Any
Artwork must have been created within the last five years and not have been previously exhibited at Artlink.
Artwork must be original, reproductions will not be accepted.
