CALL for ENTRIES...GONE TO THE DOGS 8
“Gone To The Dogs 8” January 16 - March 1, 2026.
8th Juried show of artworks depicting the dog.
(Each artwork must have at least one image of a dog or part of a dog)

All other media accepted, oil, acrylic, watercolor, drawing, ink, assemblage, collage, prints, photography and sculpture (stone, clay, wood, paper, paper mache, bronze).

Requirements:
Art must be original and created by the artist. All work must be ready to hang with a secure wire on the back.
No plastic frames, no saw tooth or triangle hangers. A simple mat with a simple black frame is the best choice to display your image.Please do not use fancy, colorful or elaborate frames!
All Paintings without frames must have at least a 1 ½ inch wrap around canvas finished cleanly for gallery hanging.
Art previously shown in gallery will not be accepted.
All art must be marked clearly on the back of work with artists name, title of art, medium, size and price.
Gallery only has liability insurance. It is recommended that artists carry their own insurance.
All 2D Work brought into the gallery can be no larger than 48 wide x 72 inches in height.
All 3D work must not exceed 30 pounds. Sculpture must be sturdy and stand-alone. If the 3D work is to be hung on the wall it cannot exceed 25 pounds
Gallery has the right to use images of artwork entered for publicity.
.All artwork must be exhibition ready. This includes all hanging hardware and assembly instruction.
All work must remain for the duration of the exhibit.
For work that is accepted, the artists must provide a one-paragraph statement.
• Sales: All work must be available for sale during the exhibition. Please note that Niza Knoll retains a 40% commission on all art sales. Prices or sizes may not be changed after submission. Payment for sold artwork will be issued within 40 days after the close of the exhibition
Artists are solely responsible for delivery and pick up of all artwork.
• AGREEMENT
• Submission to this juried exhibition constitutes an agreement on the part of the entrant to the conditions set forth in this prospectus. Niza Knoll Gallery reserves the right to final curatorial, educational, installation and marketing decisions, including the use of art images for publicity.

Niza Knoll Gallery, celebrating its 15th year, specializes in intriguing conceptual exhibits. The gallery is located in the historic Arts District on Santa Fe, hosts First and Third Friday events, monthly salons, private concerts and guest speakers. Past exhibits have included unusual artist pairings, outsider art, collaborative work, thought provoking thematic exhibits, artists using non- traditional media. It is truly a gem.
Accepted work must be for sale at the exhibit.
A 40% commission will be taken off the sale price. Artist gets 60% / gallery gets 40%

Application Requirements
- All submitted artwork must be original. NO AI or gicle
- Accepted work must be dropped off in person at the gallery - 915 Santa Fe Drive, Denver.
- Do not submit work if you do not have the ability to do this on Sunday, January 11, 2026 between 3 - 5 pm
- Fee for entry is $38.00 for 1 to 3 entries. Non-refundable

Submissions must include:
1) Artist's contact information with email and mobile phone number that accepts text messages.
2) Short paragraph about the submitted work.
3) Information about the artwork- Title, Size, Medium and Retail Price (Please price with the knowledge that the gallery commission on sales is 40%)
You must be aware of these dates and be able to meet these important deadlines.

Eligibility Criteria
- Artist must have the ability to drop off accepted work in person at 915 Santa Fe Drive in Denver, Colorado in person on Sunday, aJANUARY 11, 2026. NO SHIPPING
- All accepted artworks must be for sale and remain in the gallery until Sunday, Sunday, March 1, 2026
- Gallery commission is 40% of sales.
- Applicant must be over 18 years of age.
- Artists are solely responsible for delivery and pick-up of all artworks.
- Submission fees are non-refundable.
Presentation/Hanging Requirements.
- All artworks must be well executed, clean, dry and ready to display.
- If the work will be hung it must be ready to hang with a secure wire on the back. No zigzag or triangular hangers.
- For special hanging please bring instructions and any special nails.
- All work must not exceed 30 pounds. If work weighs more than 30 pounds artist may need to help install the piece.
- If the 3D work is to be hung on the wall it cannot exceed 25 pounds.
- If artwork is to be displayed on a pedestal it should be no larger than 24 x 24 inches at the base.
- Work must be sturdy and able to stand-alone.
- All art must be brought into gallery on Sunday, January 11 from 3-5 pm
