Size and Weight Limits

Two-dimensional works may not exceed 48 inches (including frame) on the longest side or 40 pounds in weight.

Sculptural works may not exceed 60 inches in height or 75 pounds in weight, unless special arrangements are made in advance. Please specify if pedestal is needed. 

Entries and Fees

All entries must be submitted through CaFÉ (CallForEntry.org).

A $20 non-refundable entry fee is required.

Artists may submit up to three works for consideration.

Entries must include high-quality digital images (JPEG format, up to 5 MB).

Selection and Notification

Entries will be juried from digital images.

Artists will be notified of acceptance by April 5, 2026, via email and through the CaFÉ platform.

The juror’s decisions are final.

Delivery and Pickup

Accepted work must be delivered to the USCB Center for the Arts between April 22–25, 2026.

Works must remain on display for the entire duration of the exhibition (May 1 – June 15, 2026).

Artwork must be picked up between June 16–18, 2026.

Artists are responsible for all shipping, delivery, and return expenses.

Shipped work must include a prepaid return label and reusable packing materials.

Sales and Commission

All works must be for sale unless otherwise approved.

The USCB Center for the Arts will retain a 25% commission on all sales; artists receive 70% of the sale price.

Sales tax will be collected and remitted by the Center.

Liability and Insurance

The USCB Center for the Arts and the City of Beaufort Cultural District will exercise reasonable care in handling all artwork. The University of South Carolina Beaufort will insure the artwork for the duration of the exhibit 

The organizations are not responsible for loss or damage from any cause while artwork is in transit .

Artists are encouraged to maintain their own insurance coverage.

Publicity and Image Rights

By entering, artists grant the USCB Center for the Arts and the City of Beaufort Cultural District permission to use submitted images for promotional and educational purposes, including print, digital, and social media, with credit to the artist.

Agreement

Submission of an entry through CaFÉ constitutes an agreement with all terms and conditions listed above. The organizers reserve the right to reject any work that does not meet exhibition standards, differs significantly from the submitted image, or is deemed unsuitable for public display.
