About the Juror - David Henry Perry
After nearly 40 years working in the architecture and exhibit design field in Boston and Cambridge, I decided to step back from that profession. Retirement, however, did not suit meso I signed on to manage the Berta Walker Gallery in Provincetown. Berta Walker is one of the oldest galleries in town and represents an impressive mix of living mid and late career artists, as well as several artist estates. I learned a lot through my years of working there, but more importantly I established strong relationships with the museums, galleries and most of all the artists of Cape Cod. When I left Berta Walker, it felt very natural for me to turn my attention to supporting and advocating for individual artists. I have since had the opportunity to curate several shows for artists whom I greatly respect and whose work I love. My on-going studio visits to both established and emerging artists continue to enrich my life and foster new exhibition ideas.
