JUROR - Leslie Tejada

Artist Statement

As a painter with over 40 years experience, Leslie Tejada has exhibited her work in galleries and museums across the country, sold to corporate and hospitality markets, and rented many paintings to the TV and motion picture industries. She was invited to take part in the national Art in Embassies program, and is currently a member of the National Association of Women Artists in New York City.

Over the years, Leslie has painted in several genres in many media in a wide variety of sizes. Gradually representational painting evolved into more abstract work, as she followed her own imaginative vision through processes based on experimentation. Today her current landscape abstractions reflect the patterns, colors and rhythms of the woods which surround her Oregon
studio.

Leslie looks forward to viewing and curating paintings submitted by talented artists, and is pleased to bring her years of experience to selecting worthy pieces for this fine exhibition.
