Call Description

Gather Center is focused on collaborative discoveries in individual empowerment and unity consciousness across artistic practices, research, and interdisciplinary frontiers. Our mission is to gather people, energy, and ideas to synergize inspiration and coherence.

Unconditional Humans is an ongoing exhibition and podcast series that amplifies personal narratives and creative practices—raising awareness for conditions through lived experience until the conditions are no longer relevant. Artists are invited to propose work reflecting their own awareness/expansion journeys and/or explorations honoring fellow unconditional humans. The audience is everyone; the voices are anyone.

Selected works will be exhibited at Gather Center in Brooklyn, NY (Feb 17–Mar 26, 2026), with an opening reception on Tue Feb 17, 2026 (5:30–7:30 PM). Selected artists may also be considered for a future episode of the Unconditional Humans podcast, including possible use of artwork imagery as episode cover art.

Application Requirements

Submit up to 3 works for consideration. For each work, include: image, title, medium, dimensions, year, and retail price. Include 1–2 sentences describing each piece. Optional: brief artist bio/statement.

If selected, artist must hand-deliver work on the delivery date and pick up work on the pickup date (see dates below).

Eligibility Criteria

Open to artists who can comply with hand delivery and in-person pickup in Brooklyn, NY. No commercial shipments accepted. Work must be exhibition-ready at delivery. Artist is responsible for transport logistics and liability in transit.
